Howden Hellas Insurance & Reinsurance Brokers S.A., member of Howden Group Holdings, is seeking to hire an Insurance Broker, Financial Lines.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the retention of current insurance clientele of all Financial Lines Insurance products and placement of new business, the assurance of clients’ satisfaction building key customer relationships, identifying business opportunities, negotiating and accomplishing business deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Handling a portfolio of clients, achieving the team’s targets for new business and renewals/retention of current clients.
- Preparing broking submissions, negotiating and placing Financial Lines (re)insurance policies in the local and international (re)insurance market.
- Reviewing and negotiating complex (re)insurance policies.
- Assisting with the interpretation of insurance wordings and product development.
- Ensure compliance with regulations and internal procedures.
- Cultivating and maintaining excellent client relationships; arranging and attending meetings.
- Dealing with corporate clients and providing them with tailored solutions according to their needs, delivering good customer service.
- Liaise with various departments and keep all relevant parties informed regarding account status and general business issues.
- Keep up to date with the (re)insurance market.
- Ensure that the company’s workflow systems are updated promptly to reflect the current status of any risk.
- Set and deliver budget objectives (growth and profitability).

Key qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Insurance Science, Statistics, Finance or relevant field.
- Certified as Insurance Broker.
- Proven experience within insurance business (ideally 3 years).
- Excellent use of Greek and English language (verbal and written).
- Excellent computer skills (MS Office).
Position: permanent contract
