Alpha Bank is currently seeking to recruit an Associate for the Asset Liability Management Business Area, who will participate in the assessment of the Bank’s assets and liabilities profile.

The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, with critical thinking and problem-solving skills, able to collaborate well and perform in a fast-paced environment.

What you will be doing

  • Participate in the analysis for the calculation of the minimum margin for financial products pricing, incorporating variables such as cost of liquidity, cost of risk, cost of capital and other related inputs per facility or product for use by the Bank’s Units.
  • Participate in the production of reports incorporated in the Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCo) deck.
  • Assist in the Funds Transfer Pricing calibration, as well as the monitoring and regular review of the Funds Transfer Pricing Policy.
  • Assist in the monitoring of the Bank’s Securities Investments portfolio (Amortized Cost Portfolio), producing related reports and KRIs.
  • Assist in the development of quantitative ad hoc reports related to Balance Sheet Management.

What you need to have

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance or in any other related discipline.
  • A Master’s degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Econometrics or any other related discipline would be considered an asset.
  • One (1) to three (3) years of related working experience in Banking, Asset Liability Management, or any other related field.
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and understand the financials products, would be an asset.
  • Complex problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in the use of MS Office.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and VBA.
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
