Alpha Bank is currently looking for a recent graduate to join the Market Risk Control Business Area, on a fixed term contract.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial data, preparing reports, and developing liquidity and interest rate risk monitoring tools. Additionally, they will assist in meeting the supervisory requirements of both the Bank and the Group.
What you will be doing
- Assisting in monitoring market and Asset Liability Management (ALM) risks, including interest rate risk, liquidity risk, and counterparty risk.
- Developing simple automation tools for tasks such as data entry and report generation
- Conducting research and analysis to support risk management strategies and decision-making.
- Contributing to the preparation of reports and presentations for senior management and regulatory purposes.
- Assisting in maintaining and updating databases.
- Engaging in ad hoc projects and tasks related to market and ALM risk management.
What you need to have
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Science, Finance, Accounting or in any other related discipline.
- A Master’s degree in any of the abovementioned fields will be considered an asset.
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as VBA, Python, SQL or similar languages is required.
- Excellent command of the English language (both written and spoken).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
