Risk & Actuarial Analyst
GENIKI PANELLADIKI a healthy and robust mutual insurance cooperative, specialized in the field of tourist coach insurance, is seeking to hire a full-time Risk and Actuarial Analyst to support the Risk Management and Actuarial Functions.
Risk Management and Actuarial Functions are part of the second line of defense as imposed by the system of governance and fully comply with the requirements of the Greek and European insurance legislation.
The candidate will work closely with the head of these functions to support day-to-day work in developing, implementing and monitoring risk and actuarial analysis according to the supervisory requirements. The candidate will report to the head of these functions, cooperate with other teams and participate in discussions with senior management.
Main Responsibilities
- Supports the quantitative and qualitative implementation of risk management framework.
- Participates in the calculation of solvency capital requirements.
- Participates in the implementation of stress tests and sensitivity analysis.
- Contributes to the conduct of Own Risk and Solvency Assessment (ORSA).
- Supports the coordination of calculation and validation of technical provisions.
- Contributes to the monitoring and analysis of premiums and reserves.
- Supports the development, review and enhancement of internal policies and processes.
- Contributes to the preparation of internal and regulatory reports and presentations (monthly, quarterly, annual and / or ad-hoc).
- Participates in working groups and helps to inform all relevant parties about actuarial and risk management issues.
Must have requirements
- BSc and MSc degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial or Economics.
- Knowledge of MsOffice (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio).
- Excellent command of English (oral and written).
- Fulfilled military obligations (for male candidates).
Nice to have Requirements
- Work experience in the fields of Risk Management and / or Actuarial analysis.
- In process of acquiring a professional qualification in the fields of Risk Management and / or Actuarial analysis.
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework and supervisory requirements of insurance companies (Solvency II, IFRS 17, IDD).
