MYTILINEOS, one of Greece’s leading industrial companies with a strong international presence in four Business Units, Metallurgy, EPC, Electric Power and Gas Trading, is currently seeking to hire a Business Administration Assistant who will be based in Athens for the EPC Business Unit.

Business Administration Assistant

Main Responsibilities:

  • Providing administrative support in the running of the day-to-day activities of the Division in Greece and all regional offices
  • Assisting in the appropriate implementation and execution of the Administration policies; assisting in maintaining and updating corporate policies, business procedures and processes manuals
  • Assisting in mobilization of the expatriate personnel (work permit, international insurance and other safety requirements)
  • Assisting with and following up reporting requirements on monthly basis
  • Scheduling and organizing of all Senior Management Meetings and preparing of all related presentation materials
  • Performing standard office administrative tasks
  • Coordinating the Business Trips / VIP delegation visits from other countries

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or International Management
  • A postgraduate Degree in a related discipline will be considered an asset
  • Up to 3 years of experience as an Executive / Administrative / Operations Assistant; experience in an international business environment is a plus
  • Fluency in Greek and English
  • Good working knowledge of French will be considered as a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexible/available for travelling abroad, if required
