ΠΡΑΚΤΙΚΗΣ ΑΣΚΗΣΗΣ (INTERNSHIP) ΕΡΕΥΝΗΤΟΥ / ΒΟΗΘΟΥ ΠΡΟΕΔΡΟΥ

Στο πλαίσιο των ερευνητικών του δραστηριοτήτων, το Ευρωπαϊκό Κέντρο Αριστείας Jean Monnet του Πανεπιστημίου Αθηνών προκηρύσσει δύο θέσεις Πρακτικής Άσκησης διάρκειας 3 μηνών (ανανεώσιμων) (Απρίλιος – Ιούνιος 2022) για την θέση Ερευνητή / Βοηθού Προέδρου, με προβλεπόμενη απασχόληση κατά μ.ό. 15-20 ωρών εβδομαδιαίως, μέρος της οποίας δια τηλεργασίας. 

Οι θέσεις αυτές είναι άμισθες και εντάσσονται στο Πρόγραμμα Πρακτικής Άσκησης του Κέντρου, ενώ έχουν ως καθήκοντα την παροχή ερευνητικής υποστήριξης στον Πρόεδρο και συντονιστή ερευνών σε θέματα ελληνο-τουρκικών σχέσεων και Αν. Μεσογείου καθώς και τη διοικητική υποστήριξη του Κέντρου σε θέματα όπως τήρηση ηλεκτρονικού αρχείου, ενημέρωση ιστοσελίδας και μέσων κοινωνικής δικτύωσης.

Τα ερευνητικά Προγράμματα του Ευρωπαϊκού Κέντρου Αριστείας Jean Monnet δίνουν την ευκαιρία στους ενδιαφερόμενους να αποκτήσουν ή να εμπλουτίσουν την ερευνητική τους εμπειρία σε πρακτικά  ζητήματα εξωτερικής πολιτικής (policy oriented research) και να εξοικειωθούν με τη λειτουργία και τις απαιτήσεις ενός Κέντρου Αριστείας. 

Οι υποψήφιοι θα πρέπει να έχουν άριστη γνώση της ελληνικής και αγγλικής γλώσσας, στον γραπτό και τον προφορικό λόγο, καλή γνώση των σύγχρονων θεμάτων ελληνικής εξωτερικής πολιτικής και ειδικότερα πολύ καλή γνώση των ελληνοτουρκικών σχέσεων και να διαθέτουν πολύ καλές δεξιότητες χρήσης ηλεκτρονικού υπολογιστή και social media. Τα παραπάνω θα πρέπει να τεκμηριώνονται κατά την υποβολή της αίτησης. 

Θα συνεκτιμηθεί θετικά τυχόν εμπειρία στην έρευνα και η εθελοντική ή εργασιακή εμπειρία σε υπηρεσίες ψηφιοποίησης και εφαρμογών πληροφορικής.

Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι παρακαλούνται να συμπληρώσουν την φόρμα αίτησης που είναι διαθέσιμη ΕΔΩ και να την υποβάλλουν ηλεκτρονικά το αργότερο μέχρι 30 Μαρτίου 2022. Οι υποψήφιοι που θα συμπεριληφθούν στη βραχεία λίστα για τη θέση θα κληθούν σε συνέντευξη. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Perform systems installations, configurations and integrations
  • Work mainly on HPE, Microsoft and virtualization platforms
  • Provide support for troubleshooting and maintain IT equipment
  • Provide technical support on phone, email, on-site and at clients’ premises (outsourcing)
  • Test equipment and services
  • Analyze and solve complex IT Systems issues (servers, storage, networking)
  • Maintain technical and industry knowledge through ongoing training, seminars and certifications
REQUIREMENTS
  • University degree in Computer Science
  • At least 3 years’ experience in applying technical solutions
  • Broad technical knowledge and understanding of large scale, IT Infrastructures
  • Working knowledge of vendor products and technologies from HPE, Microsoft, IBM, Cisco, NetApp, VMWare and relevant certifications is highly appreciated
  • Experience on Windows Server, Active Directory, Exchange Server, Virtualization platforms (preferably Citrix).
  • Experience on Storage (NetApp or IBM N-Series, 3PAR)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in Greek and English
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • Customer and problem-solving orientation
  • Driving License

Δηλώσεις συμμετοχής έως 20 Απριλίου 2022

  Με στόχο την ενίσχυση των νέων επιχειρηματιών που επιθυμούν να αναπτύξουν καινοτόμα έργα, πραγματοποιείται για ένατη συνεχή χρονιά ο Διαγωνισμός Επιχειρηματικών Ιδεών «John & Mary Pappajohn Business Plan Competition». Ο Διαγωνισμός διοργανώνεται από το Κέντρο Επιχειρηματικότητας του ACT και θα απονείμει πέντε  βραβεία 4.000 ευρώ σε κάθε ένα από τα πέντε καλύτερα επιχειρηματικά πλάνα. Τα χρηματικά έπαθλα προσφέρει ο ελληνικής καταγωγής επιχειρηματίας John Pappajohn. Οι διαγωνιζόμενοι θα κριθούν βάσει της ιδέας που θα καταθέσουν, καθώς των προσωπικών επιχειρηματικών τους ικανοτήτων. Συγκεκριμένα θα συνεκτιμηθεί ο βαθμός καινοτομίας, η δυνατότητα και η ετοιμότητα ανάπτυξης της ιδέας, η βιωσιμότητα, η γνωστική επάρκεια, η αφοσίωση και οι επιχειρηματικές ικανότητες των διαγωνιζομένων. Ειδικά φέτος, ένα τουλάχιστον βραβείο θα δοθεί σε ένα εγχείρημα κοινωνικής επιχειρηματικότητας. Λέγοντας «κοινωνικής» αναφερόμαστε σε εγχείρημα που θα πραγματεύεται ένα ζήτημα που ενδεικτικά και όχι περιοριστικά αφορά περιβάλλον, ενέργεια, διατροφή, νερό, υγεία, κοινωνική μέριμνα με έμφαση σε ευπαθείς ομάδες, εκπαίδευση, βιώσιμες πόλεις. Με την έννοια της «επιχειρηματικότητας» εννοούμε πως το εγχείρημα θα πρέπει να είναι οικονομικά βιώσιμο. Ο διαγωνισμός αναλύεται σε τρία στάδια. Το πρώτο περιλαμβάνει την κατάθεση των ιδεών για το επιχειρηματικό πλάνο μέχρι την Μ. Τετάρτη 20 Απριλίου 2022 στο www.act.edu/pappajohn-awards. Η περιγραφή της ιδέας θα πρέπει να περιλαμβάνει:
  • το προτεινόμενο προϊόν/ υπηρεσία
  • το αγοραστικό κοινό στο οποίο στοχεύει
  • το μοντέλο εσόδων της προτεινόμενης ιδέας (revenue model)
  • τον νεωτερισμό/καινοτομία που χαρακτηρίζει την ιδέα
  • το επίπεδο ωριμότητας της ιδέας
Η συμμετοχή και μόνο στον διαγωνισμό Pappajohn αποτελεί μια πρώτης τάξης ευκαιρία για κάθε διαγωνιζόμενο να “δοκιμάσει” την ιδέα του σε ένα ανταγωνιστικό περιβάλλον και να δικτυωθεί με φορείς και οργανισμούς που θα τον βοηθήσουν για την περαιτέρω ανάπτυξη του εγχειρήματος του. Ακόμη περισσότερο, η επιτυχία στον διαγωνισμό, πέρα από το χρηματικό έπαθλο,  λειτουργεί ως διαβατήριο για την εξεύρεση συνεργατών και επενδυτών στην Ελλάδα και το εξωτερικό σε επόμενα στάδια. About The Role
As a Motor Claims Handler, you will be part of our Technical Division and primarily responsible for processing claims submitted by policy holders, ensuring that they are dealt efficiently.
Major Accountabilities
  • Receives and handles all motor insurance claims
  • Collect accurate information and documents
  • Investigate the nature of the damage being claimed
  • Ensure that claims are not fraudulent

  • Regularly perform security checks and troubleshooting in Security products (EDR, Firewalls, PAM etc)

  • Facilitate Improvements in Policies/guidelines and implement new processes with the goal to optimize company’s security system

Knowledge, Qualifications and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Security/Computer science or relevant is a must
  • Master’s degreein Security/Computer science will be considered as a plus
  • 3-5 years of experienceas a System Security Engineer or similar role
  • Ability to communicate both verbal and written in English
  • Good Knowledge of PAM software solutions, Firewalls EDR and DLP solutions
  • Certifications like CISM or CISA or CISSP will be considered as a plus
