We are looking for a positive, self driven individual to join our team as Customer Success Consultant. In this role, you are an adviser, instructor and advocate to our customers (potential and existing ones). You are responsible for the support, training, and advising customers in the use of ContactPigeon for digital marketing and overall eCommerce marketing best practices Ideal candidates are those who are willing to go beyond the call of duty to provide excellent service for customers, and loves to seek creative ways to solve a business problem. As a Customer Success Consultant, you will gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced tech start up where growth opportunities exist for those who are motivated and hungry. You will also build expertise in marketing, eCommerce, and account relationship management.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Execute support and best practice coaching for ecommerce customers
  • Demonstrating ContactPigeon’s platform features to potential and existing customers
  • Flexibility to work afternoon to evening hours (for international clients)
  • Serve as our brand ambassador, as well as a channel for customer feedback on product development

  • Fluent in English both in writing and over the phone

Το Πολυτεχνείο Κρήτης και το e- campus University στο πρόγραμμα

«Σπουδάζω με Υποτροφία» της Equal Society

  Τρεις νέες υποτροφίες προστέθηκαν  στο πρόγραμμα  «Σπουδάζω με Υποτροφία» της Equal Society.  Το Πολυτεχνείο Κρήτης  με δύο μεταπτυχιακά προγράμματα σπουδών και το e-Campus University  με μία υποτροφία επιλογής του υποψηφίου, συμμετέχουν για πρώτη χρονιά στο βραβευμένο από τον Πρόεδρο της Δημοκρατίας Πρόγραμμα Υποτροφιών. Οι υποψήφιοι υπότροφοι μπορούν τώρα να διεκδικήσουν μία (1) υποτροφία για το full time διεθνές εντατικό Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα στη ‘Διοίκηση της Τεχνολογίας και της Καινοτομίας – Technology and Innovation Management’, που συνδιοργανώνουν η Σχολή Μηχανικών Παραγωγής και Διοίκησης και η Σχολή Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης, μία (1) υποτροφία για το Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα στη ‘Σχεδίαση και Παραγωγή Προϊόντων – Product Design and Manufacturing ’, που διοργανώνει η Σχολή Μηχανικών Παραγωγής του Πολυτεχνείου Κρήτης και μία (1) υποτροφία επιλογής του υποψηφίου από τα προγράμματα MSc στην Ψυχολογία, Msc στην Ειδική Αγωγή, Msc στις Οικονομικές Επιστήμες και ΜSc στην Εγκληματολογία  του e-campus University. Πρόγραμμα Πρακτικής Άσκησης

Το Ίδρυμα Βασίλη & Ελίζας Γουλανδρή (ΙΒΕΓ) προσφέρει σε νέους ηλικίας 18 έως 35 ετών τη δυνατότητα αμειβόμενης πρακτικής άσκησης στο νέο Μουσείο του στην Αθήνα που θα ανοίξει τις πόρτες του στο κοινό τον Οκτώβριο 2019. Οι θέσεις αμειβόμενης πρακτικής είναι στο σύνολο πέντε (5). Η πρακτική άσκηση θα αρχίσει στις 2.9.2019 και θα λήξει στις 13.9.2020. Το ωράριο απασχόλησης θα είναι 40 ώρες εβδομαδιαία/5 ημέρες ή 6 ημέρες/κυλιόμενο ωράριο (περιλαμβάνει και Σαββατοκύριακα). Το πρόγραμμα αφορά στην πρακτική άσκηση στο τμήμα Εξυπηρέτησης Επισκεπτών του Μουσείου Αθηνών του ΙΒΕΓ (υποδοχή, πληροφορίες, οργάνωση εκδηλώσεων, εργαστηρίων, σχολικών επισκέψεων, ξεναγήσεων, εποπτεία εκθεσιακών χώρων κλπ.), μέσα από το οποίο, οι ασκούμενοι που θα έρχονται καθημερινά σε επαφή με τους επισκέπτες, θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να αναπτύξουν, μεταξύ άλλων, δεξιότητες επικοινωνίας, συνεργασίας, προσαρμοστικότητας και οργάνωσης, και να εντρυφήσουν στις δομές και στους μηχανισμούς λειτουργίας ενός πολιτιστικού φορέα παγκόσμιας φήμης. Οι ενδιαφερόμενοι καλούνται να εκδηλώσουν το ενδιαφέρον τους αποστέλλοντας το βιογραφικό σημείωμά τους μαζί με ένα σύντομο συνοδευτικό στο οποίο θα εκθέτουν τους λόγους για τους οποίους θα επιθυμούσαν να πραγματοποιήσουν πρακτική άσκηση στο ΙΒΕΓ, καθώς και τα δικαιολογητικά που αναφέρονται στη συνέχεια, στην ηλεκτρονική διεύθυνση internships@goulandris.gr έως τις 18 Ιουλίου 2019 16:00 μ.μ.   • Ολοκληρωμένη υποχρεωτική εκπαίδευση.
  • Πιστοποιημένη γνώση της αγγλικής γλώσσας επιπέδου Β2. Η σχετική πιστοποίηση θα πρέπει να υποβληθεί ηλεκτρονικά μαζί με την εκδήλωση ενδιαφέροντος και το βιογραφικό σημείωμα. Gender and Ageing Intersections in Exclusion from Social Relations across the Life Course 

Applications for PhD Doctoral Position Sought: Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for a full-time, four-year PhD research fellowship in the area of ageing and gender intersection in exclusion from social relations, to be based at the Irish Centre for Social Gerontology (ICSG) in the National University of Ireland Galway, Ireland.

Background: Social connection is a universal basic human need, but a substantial number of people in later life lack essential social resources. While gender-related risk factors exist, critical knowledge gaps remain about how age, gender, and life experiences might combine to create social relations exclusion. Further, why significant variations exist across countries (welfare and cultural systems) in gendered experiences of social relations is poorly understood.

Fellowship Details: This fellowship will be awarded as a part of the GENDER-Net Plus funded cross national research study entitled  ‘A life-course perspective on the GENdered PATHways of exclusion from social relations in later life, and its consequences for health and wellbeing’– GENPATHS. The successful candidate will be under the supervision of Professor Kieran Walsh and Dr. Aine Ni Leime, and will use qualitative research methods to understand what exclusion from social relations means for the everyday lives and identities of older men and women.

The Fellowship award will be €93,000 in total – this amount comprises a maintenance award to the student,  from which fees (EU Fees – approximately €5,250 per annum) are also to be paid.

Interviews are expected to take place the week beginning the 12th August 2019 

Start date: 1st September 2019 (or the earliest date thereafter).

Πρόγραμμα Ευρωπαϊκής Εθελοντικής Εργασίας σε οργανισμό υποστήριξης παιδιών με αυτισμό, Σλοβακία, 10/2019 – 9/2020 Δυνατότητα συμμετοχής σε πρόγραμμα Ευρωπαϊκής Εθελοντικής Εργασίας (European Solidarity Corps) στη Σλοβακία για νέους ηλικίας 18-30 ετών Διάρκεια: 1/10/2019 – 30/9/2020 Ηλικιακό όριο: 18-30 ετών (αυστηρά) Αφορά κοινωνική εργασία στον οργανισμό SPOSA (Organization for the Help of People with Autism, http://www.sposa.sk/en/) στη Μπρατισλάβα της Σλοβακίας. O SPOSA είναι ένας εθνικός οργανισμός ο οποίος ιδρύθηκε από γονείς παιδιών με αυτισμό. Έχει ως σκοπό να υποστηρίξει την προσωπική ανάπτυξη και την κοινωνική ένταξη των παιδιών με αυτισμό καθώς επίσης και να υποστηρίξει και τις ίδιες τις οικογένειες τους. Ο εθελοντής θα συμβάλλει στη διεξαγωγή δημιουργικών εργαστηρίων, κατασκηνώσεων και εκπαιδευτικών εκδρομών για τα παιδιά και νέους με αυτισμό. Παράλληλα, θα συμβάλλει και στη διοργάνωση δράσεων ενημέρωσης και υποστήριξης των οικογενειών των παιδιών και νέων με αυτισμό. Επιπλέον, ο εθελοντής θα υποστηρίξει τη λειτουργία του οργανισμού σε θέματα οργανωτικής διαχείρισης. Καλύπτονται τα έξοδα διαμονής. Παρέχεται μηνιαίο επίδομα για έξοδα διατροφής 110 ευρώ και μηνιαία αποζημίωση 153 ευρώ για λοιπά έξοδα. Το ταξιδιωτικό κόστος καλύπτεται έως το ανώτατο ποσό των 275 ευρώ. Παρέχεται ιατροφαρμακευτική ασφάλιση. Με τη επιτυχή ολοκλήρωση του προγράμματος παρέχεται το Ευρωπαϊκό Πιστοποιητικό Συμμετοχης Youthpass. Η συμμετοχή είναι υποχρεωτική καθ’ολη τη διάρκεια του προγράμματος. Γλώσσα εργασίας: αγγλικά (βασική γνώση) Παρέχεται κύκλος μαθημάτων εκμάθησης σλοβακικής γλώσσας. Πρόγραμμα Εθελοντισμού ”Natural” για 6 μήνες στην Πορτογαλία. Η Α.Μ.Κ.Ε You in Europe σε συνεργασία με τους οργανισμούς “Casa de Juventude de Amarante” και “Equacao” προκηρύσσει 1 θέση Εθελοντισμού (ESC) διάρκειας 6 μηνών για το πρόγραμμα «Natural:bio, fair and local» , στο γραφικό Amarante της Πορτογαλίας, από 1/10/2019 έως τις 31/3/2020. Το πρόγραμμα χρηματοδοτείται από το Erasmus+ και την Ε.Ε. και καλύπτει διαμονή, διατροφή, αεροπορικά εισιτήρια έναρξης και λήξης, ασφάλιση καθώς και pocket money στους εθελοντές. Το πρόγραμμα “NATURAL: bio, fair and local” θα συμμετέχουν 5 εθελοντές από Ελλάδα, Ιταλία, Ισπανία, Λετονία και Τσεχία. Κύριοι στόχοι του προγράμματος είναι
  • να φέρει τους συμμετέχοντες σε επαφή με τα ανθρώπινα δικαιώματα και κυρίως με το Δίκαιο Εμπόριο – Fair Trade.
  • να τους ενθαρρύνει προς έναν υγιεινό τρόπο ζωής (υγιεινή διατροφή, άσκηση, ολιστικός τρόπος προσέγγισης)
  • να τους ευαισθητοποιήσει ώστε να συμμετέχουν ενεργά στην προστασία του περιβάλλοντος, μέσα από την οργανική καλλιέργεια, τα τοπικά προιόντα, τον αειφόρο τουρισμό κλπ.
Το πρόγραμμα απευθύνεται σε νέους/νέες ηλικίας 18-30 ετών. Quantitative Market Risk Analyst – Athens based position

Our KlarityRisk platform is an award winning, Market Risk & Analytics and Attribution software solution, exclusively focused on the buy-side sector of the Investment Management industry. Due to our continuous growth, we are currently searching for highly energetic and results oriented quants, experienced with MATLAB, to join our internal brilliant analytics and products team.  We offer challenging tasks in a team-focused stimulating working environment where teamwork, but also individual contribution, is highly valued. Your responsibilities: You will become a key contributor in the development of the Klarity Risk software solutions suite. You shall assume responsibilities including:
  • Implement functional specifications as well as detailed calculation descriptions for our Risk Analytics, Risk Management and Risk Compliance application. This software includes:
    1. VaR Calculation.
    2. Risk Decomposition.
    3. Stress Testing and Back Testing techniques.
    4. Filling Missing Data Techniques.
  • Implement all methods in MATLAB in order to verify and validate robust functionality of our final, market, delivered product.
  • Coordinate with the Software Engineering Team responsible for the implementation of these methods.
  • Review and understand existing functional specifications of our risk products.
  • Research, analyze and specify new software functionality (market and regulatory compliance for the buy-side only), based on established or newly developed quantitative methods in finance and/or regulatory requirements.
Formal qualifications
  • Master’s degree in (market risk management focus or financial mathematics with emphasis on market risk) with exposure to financial mathematics or financial engineering is preferred.
  • Excellent and demonstrated knowledge of MATLAB is needed; very good knowledge of LATEX is positively viewed.
  • Working knowledge of SQL relational database, ability to write SQL queries.
  • Related work experience and high interest in Market Risk Management analysis, preferably within a financial or investment management institution or consulting entity or educational establishment.
  • Relevant business analysis experience, at least 2-3 years long, at market risk management units can compensate for a less quantitative educational background.
  • Recent graduates who wish to work within quantitative finance are also encouraged to apply, if they have strong knowledge in market risk and MATLAB.
  Personal skills
  • Team-worker in a multi-lingual, international, team-working environment.
  • English and Greek languages fluency is required. Other European language is highly desired.
  • Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail are required.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, work under time constraints and changing priorities, in an exciting start-up-like business setting.
  • Strong ability to apply troubleshooting and analytical skills when resolving problems.

Due to our growth, the company is currently seeking highly energetic and results oriented individuals for the positions of Business Consultants. We are mainly looking for experienced consultants, but we will consider exceptional, highly qualified, but junior-level professionals too. Description:
  • As Implementation Consultant, you will work closely with our clients (asset managers, fund managers, hedge funds, wealth managers and private banks) to implement and maintain our solutions in their back- to front-office environments.
  • Typical implementation tasks are installation, configuration, integration, data conversion, automation of processes, specification of custom deliverables, system testing, user training, documentation and client communication. Consultants would also evaluate and recommend enhancements to existing clients’ installations and processes.
  • The Consultant will be servicing clients primarily in Europe and the Middle East. The role is therefore ideal for candidates who are flexible in terms of traveling and find it exciting to explore different cities, cultures and business practices.
  • Our products run on an MS Windows / MS SQL platform and spans the functions of: Portfolio Management, Risk Management, Client & Management Reporting, Performance Analytics, Client Relationship Management and Trading & Order Management.
Key Qualifications:
  • Post-graduate University degree (MBA, MSc) in Business/Finance and/or in IT/engineering with Finance knowledge.
  • 4+ years experience consulting experience in software implementation projects within the finance/investment management/consulting/banking industries.
  • Experience and interest about the European investment management market and trends is essential.
  • Significant understanding of technical concepts and MS platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, team-oriented attitude and strong time management skills.
  • Excellent people communication skills in a multi-cultural setting.
  • Fluency in English and Greek languages is a minimum. Fluency in additional languages is a strong plus but not a requirement.
  • Project Management experience from software implementation projects is an additional asset.
  • Ability to travel is required
