As a DSE Test Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and execution of the testing effort on a project or product team.  This includes

  • documenting test plans
  • building and executing comprehensive suites of automated test cases for newly integrated features
  • reporting defects and following up to ensure they are addressed
  • documenting test evidence for validated systems
  • maintaining the automation framework
  • evaluating test cases for inclusion in regression test suites
  • contributing to development of tool sets to enhance QA and Testing Strategy.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Your primary responsibilities will be reviewing software testing requirements, development and execution of test plans and test cases with a strong emphasis on using code and automation to shorten the test cycle in line with DSE test strategy.

You will need to be able to integrate and work in a proactive manner with both cross-functional Agile or Waterfall delivery teams and perform estimation, planning and execution for all testing activities.

You will need to own test automated scripts cycle (design, development, execution and maintenance) and produce test plans with clearly stated procedures and success criteria.

You will need to ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through test strategy/planning, test execution, quality assurance and issue tracking.

You will need to analyze test failures and work with development to mitigate/resolve any issues.

You will need to report all testing related metrics on time with due diligence.

You will need to be able to contribute to software validation documentation in support of Good Clinical/Manufacturing Practice (GxP) and Software Medical Device (SMD) development.  Documentation will include requirements/design/test matrix, documented test steps, and test evidence that can be referenced as part of regulatory body software audit activity.

You will need to establish strong relationships within your delivery teams and make the decisions that will improve/simplify testing to meet our objectives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 5-7 years of Test specific experience which includes the following: hands on test automation, test case design, test case execution, system testing, integration testing, regression testing and bug management.

Relevant experience as an information technology professional in roles such as a test engineer, software developer, database administrator, computer engineer, or engineering lead.

Experience creating and leading the implementation of test automation strategies for new software projects as well as legacy applications

Experience defining the scope of testing for Manual and Automation within the context of each sprint/release and delivery.

A history of working in agile, lean and/or continuous delivery development teams

Experience testing cloud-based applications in AWS and/or other PaaS/SaaS platforms

Hands-on technical experience in designing and building test automation frameworks in a broad range of languages and technologies that are suitable for testing applications developed in PHP (Drupal, Laravel), Javascript (Vue, Angular, Ionic), Java (Mulesoft) and Python e.g. Selenium, PHPUnit, PyTest, Jmeter, JUnit and frameworks such as Behave, Serenity, Jasmine, Protractor, Appium.

Experience using bug management tools (e.g., Jira), test management tools (e.g., Test Rail) and collaboration tools (e.g., Confluence, Sharepoint). Ideally, including plugins such as Zephyr or Xray.

Good knowledge of using and automating integrations with test clouds such as Browserstack, Saucelabs, Xamarin

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with software testing in regulated industries and the production of documentation in support of regulatory compliance.

The Digital Solutions and Enablement team are accountable for the creation, configuration, launch, and support of all externally facing digital (web, mobile, omni-channel, & device) products, platforms, services, and experiences, servicing all external customer types at Pfizer.

In addition, the DS&E team is accountable for our Marketing Technology (Martech stack) inclusive of Digital Platforms, Digital Channel Enablement, Content Integration, and Marketing/Marketer Tools and for driving Digital Enablement within Pfizer, including Robotic Process Automation, Intelligent Assistants and Workforce Productivity tools.

The Operations and Support Lead is responsible for the end to end support of various digital application solutions globally with over 100 markets supported in production with varying compliance requirements by country and language.  The Operations and Support Lead must be a team player with the ability to collaborate with all members of the DS&E, Digital Platforms and GDO, including engineering and product owners, and must actively manage the vendor agreements to ensure Pfizer is getting the quality and responsiveness required to ensure high quality outcomes for our customers.

The Operations and Support Lead must ensure that Pfizer’s Digital Solutions are always on, reliable, scalable and of the highest quality possible while maintaining efficiency and long-term sustainability.  Key to the success of this role is the ability to influence a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the Digital Solutions & Enablement team from early project planning through to delivery and sustainable operations.  A successful candidate will have both technical, leadership and interpersonal skills required to create a sustainable environment of collaboration across multiple teams at Pfizer.

The Operations and Support Lead must be able to manage critical situations when they do arise through thoughtful planning of vendor management, and communications approach.  The operations lead must also ensure that all outages and production issues reported have a full root cause analysis completed and drive towards constant improvement.  Success in this role will be measured not just by uptime and outage reports, but the culture of quality that is created throughout the Solution teams.  Finally, the role will require excellent financial management capability with responsibility for a multi-million-dollar budget and multiple managed service contracts.

  • Financial Management

Will contribute to either direct or consolidated managed service agreements for the roles specific areas of responsibility.Will ensure that monthly invoicing is closely tracked to ensure alignment with services delivered.Will continually seek to optimize processes and tools to improve financial efficiency.

  • L3/L4 Support Services

Ability to support > 100 digital assets for in a consistent manner with consistent quality of service while fully engaging with L1/L2 support teams.Establish service tiers as appropriate and ensure the elimination of unneeded infrastructure and process.

Ensure that any and all reported bugs within the areas of responsibility are resolved in a timely manner and with attention on prevention of recurrence.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Relevant experience as an information technology professional in roles such as a software developer, technical project manager, systems administrator, database administrator, systems engineer, computer engineer or support specialist, engineering lead, technical team lead. Experience managing teams of contract or colleague resources.

Experience operating in a large multi skilled operations team.

Experience with large scale deployments of Drupal or Open Source CMS websites and AWS frameworks. Experience with hybrid and native apps and shared component libraries. Experience with Marketing Automation platforms such as Marketo and other complex digital technology platforms requiring a broad mix of skilled and commodity resources to manage them.

Minimum of 8 years of experience with increasing responsibility designing, delivering, and maintaining large-scale, global systems & platforms.

RPA SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER – PFIZER

POSITION SUMMARY

The RPA Service Delivery Manager (SDM) in this position will provide functional and technical expertise to support Pfizer’s Robotic Processing Automations supporting GFS/Finance. The incumbent will be accountable for the management of the production support service, with a particular goal of driving the technical resolution of critical issues related to RPA infrastructure or target application team involved in the automations. The SDM is responsible and accountable for the overall quality of support for RPA and its related applications as well as ensuring successful month-ends and year-end financial closing processes.

The Finance RPA SDM will lead support efforts for RPA and its related target applications in the Finance BT portfolio also including target systems outside the Finance BT. The lead will ensure that appropriate support transition activities are executed to transition from Deployment/Project hypercare to long term support as managed by the Managed Service Provider. This role will be involved working across the project while working on continuing to help build the RPA Service.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Solid understanding of SAP, E1, EPM, Ariba and its related applications and functional areas within Finance and all activities carried out by the associated managed services team
  • Manage and report on One BT processes (incident management, problem management, etc.), with a specific focus on problem management and root cause analysis
  • Participate in the creation and management of processes and procedures needed to support the global environment
  • Review service performance and work with the team to implement service improvement plans as required to ensure a high level of quality support

Ο διαγωνισμός πράσινων ιδεών ‘Green Ideas Greece 2020’ διοργανώνεται φέτος για πρώτη φορά  στην Ελλάδα στο πλαίσιο του Βαλκανικού διαγωνισμού ‘Balkan Green Ideas’ (ΒGI) , που διοργανώνεται τα τελευταία 8 χρόνια απο το Balkan Green Foundation. Στοχεύει στην υποστήριξη καινοτόμων ιδεών πράσινης ή/και κοινωνικής επιχειρηματικότητας, ενεργοποιώντας ομάδες να εξελίξουν ιδέες που χρησιμοποιούν τοπικούς πόρους και δίκτυα. Παράλληλα, ο διαγωνισμός αποσκοπεί στο να συνδράμει στην δημιουργία βιώσιμων συνεργασιών μεταξύ των χωρών των Βαλκανίων.

EUROPEAN SUMMER SCHOOL 2020 IN PRAGUE

The European Summer School in Prague is an intensive 8 day learning programme focused on European integration. It is organized by one of the leading think tanks in Prague, EUROPEUM Institute for European Policy, in co-operation with the Charles University Faculty of Social Sciences. This year’s European Summer School is titled “Europe in a changing climate” and takes place in Prague between 25th July – 1st August 2020. How will the post-Brexit European Union look like? What is the future of transatlantic relations and should the EU work on its strategic autonomy? What is the Union´s position on the global stage? Is the EU a competent role model able to help battling the climate change globally? What are the climate trends in Western and Eastern Europe? Το CSR Hellas προκηρύσσει τον 5ο Φοιτητικό Διαγωνισμό “Νίκος Αναλυτής” με θέμα που αφορά στον 5ο Στόχο Βιώσιμης Ανάπτυξης: «Η εξάλειψη της ανισότητας μεταξύ ανδρών και γυναικών, που καταγράφεται ακόμα στον εργασιακό χώρο, παραμένει ζητούμενο για τη χώρα μας». Αν είσαι προπτυχιακός ή μεταπτυχιακός φοιτητής φτιάξε και εσύ την δικιά σου ομάδα (3-4 ατόμων) και ανάπτυξε τις δικές σου ιδέες σε μία εργασία έως 5.000 λέξεων. Οι αιτήσεις συμμετοχής μπορούν να υποβληθούν έως 15 Μαΐου 2020. Οι 3 νικήτριες ομάδες θα ταξιδέψουν στις Βρυξέλλες για μία επίσκεψη ενημέρωσης για τα ευρωπαϊκά θεσμικά όργανα. Η Ευρωπαϊκή Επιτροπή υποστηρίζει ενεργά τον διαγωνισμό ενώ οι πρώτοι χορηγοί του είναι οι Chipita S.A. και A.Ε. ΤΣΙΜΕΝΤΩΝ ΤΙΤΑΝ.
