Production Support
Work closely with business stakeholders such as traders and software developers to resolve issues with technical systems and applications. While some issues will have a simple fix, others will be more complex and production support analysts will be required to come up with smarter solutions. They will often need to write scripts to move data around, correct file contents, or manipulate the behavior of application processes on servers. This requires expertise in database
languages (SQL), shell scripts (Bash, tcsh) and high-level scripting languages such as Python & Perl.
Working in Production Support means you will get a lot of exposure to the trading desk, for example, how derivatives are priced, as you will be responsible for the technical side of maintaining these systems.

Σύντομη περιγραφή- εξ αποστάσεως εργαστήριο επαγγελματικής ανάπτυξης: «Συγγράφοντας την ιστορία της σταδιοδρομίας σου» Το εξ αποστάσεως βιωματικό εργαστήριο (e-workshop) επαγγελματικής ανάπτυξης «Συγγράφοντας την ιστορία της σταδιοδρομίας σου», διάρκειας 120’, θα πραγματοποιηθεί μέσω της πλατφόρμας Skype (skype account: accessibilityUniPi) στις 29/10/2020, 11 π.μ.-13.00 μ.μ.. Τα μέσα και οι τεχνικές που θα χρησιμοποιηθούν για τη διεξαγωγή του e-workshop περιλαμβάνουν ηλεκτρονικό υλικό με ασκήσεις σε μορφή word το οποίο θα αποσταλεί στους/στις συμμετέχοντες/χουσες, στοχευμένες ερωτήσεις και διάλογο, αφήγηση, μεθοδολογία του κοινού (audience methodology), μέσω της οποίας διευκολύνεται η ανταλλαγή και επεξεργασία εμπειριών ανάμεσα στα μέλη της ομάδας.
