Junior Linux Administrator
We are looking for a talented Junior Linux Administrator to join our team of IT Professionals on behalf of one of our big clients in telecommunications sector.
Main Tasks
- Maintain and scale our current Kubernetes environment.
- Help us define the future of our artifact and container-based deployment strategies.
- Monitor and tune production systems performance.
- Be part of the capacity planning for new projects in terms of hardware requirements, using proven best practices.
- Work directly with engineers to provide a polyglot-friendly experience and first-class support for platforms built on Java, Python, Go, php, NodeJS and more.
- Trouble-shoot deployment or performance issues.
Requirements
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
- Passion for technology and customer experience.
- Working experience in Agile environments/teams will be highly appreciated.
- Become part of development on tools for automating deployments, unify platform metrics, reporting and monitoring.
- Deep knowledge on Linux system administration.
- Working experience with Docker, Kubernetes, container-focused Linux
distributions, and virtualization in the cloud.
- Knowledge with Devops tools like Jenkins, Gitlab/GitHub, Grafana, Prometheus, Helm.
