Business Need / Purpose of Role The SpoR (Single Point of Remittance) Coordinator reporting to ROC Manager, shall primarily be responsible to coordinate the SpoR worldwide daily tasks ensuring a responsive and customer focused service is provided for the following functions – Itinerary bookings, Operations requests’ providing info & planning, and Disbursement Accounting. Objectives & Measurement – Key Responsibilities Operations
  • Receiving principals’, which are under SpoR agreement, worldwide itineraries, acknowledging and proceeding with berth availability checks, bookings or giving solution by providing alternatives.
  • Liaising with our ISS’ network or our local representatives’ offices providing valid data to principal
  • Monitor daily operational correspondence to secure that services are being provided are adhere to ISS standards and take corrective action where is required.
  • Working within ISS’ KPIs.
  • Build relationships with customers.
Financial
  • Liaising with our ISS’ network or our local representatives’ offices providing valid accurate proformas to principal.
  • Ensure that our principal’s interests are being protected and our profitability is maximized.
  • Secure prefunding arrangements, based on agreements  for all concerned parties.
  • Receive final invoices and crosscheck that everything is in order with received and given intel- spot and investigate in case of difference.
  • Upload final invoices to our internal platforms. Issue the FDAs in order to forward to principal.
  • Secure and monitor final settlements.

  • Knowledge and understanding of Shipping industry
  • Strong Communication Skills in English- Additional language will be considered as an advantage

Την Πέμπτη  9 Μαρτίου  ο  Πρύτανης  του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς Καθηγητής Μιχαήλ Σφακιανάκης  συναντήθηκε με τον Πρέσβη της Λαϊκής Δημοκρατίας της Κίνας Σιάο Τζουντσένγκ (Xiao Junzheng). Ο Πρύτανης  του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς Καθηγητής Μιχαήλ Σφακιανάκης εξέφρασε την ιδιαίτερη χαρά του υποδεχόμενος τον Πρέσβη της Λαϊκής Δημοκρατίας της Κίνας, Xiao Junzheng για πρώτη φορά στους χώρους του Πανεπιστήμιου, όπου συζητήθηκαν ακαδημαϊκά και ερευνητικά θέματα. Επίσης διερευνήθηκαν οι προϋποθέσεις  για περαιτέρω συνεργασίες σε διεθνή και περιφερειακά θέματα αμοιβαίου ενδιαφέροντος και τέθηκαν βάσεις για την υλοποίηση Μεταπτυχιακών και Διδακτορικών Προγραμμάτων και συνεργιών σε διακρατικά ερευνητικά προγράμματα. To Πανεπιστήμιο Πειραιώς ηγείται συντονίζοντας έναν όμιλο Ελληνικών Πανεπιστημίων (ΕΜΠ, Πάντειο, Δημοκρίτειο Πανεπιστήμιο Θράκης, Πανεπιστήμιο Κρήτης, ΠΑΜΑΚ και Χαροκόπειο) και πέντε κοινωνικών εταίρων εκπληρώνοντας συμφωνίες από κοινού με Πανεπιστήμια της Λαϊκής Δημοκρατίας της Κίνας μέσω του Erasmus+. Main Purpose:

As an Internal Controls Data Analyst, you will be part of the Internal Controls Team and support the organization assessing and managing company’s risks. You will contribute to the development and improvement of the continuous monitoring program and apply automated solutions. You will also participate in the planning, organization and completion of Internal Audit projects to review various internal controls, to ensure reliability of financial data, safeguard of assets and records, and ensure adherence to policies. Assess company’s processes and controls and find opportunities to improve the continuous auditing program. With this purpose, you will collaborate with the Internal Controls Team and use data analytics to support internal audit. Main responsibilities include:
  • Develop data analytics routines using industry-standard tools – such as Qlik Sense and SQL – to identify process or control gaps and cost optimization opportunities.

Internal Controls manage these annual framework cycle activities and external auditors validate the existence of the Trafigura Internal Control System every year. Additionally, the team performs site reviews to assess how local management manages risk and to find opportunities for improvement, and advises on process design for new IT applications.   Key relationships include Traders, Contracts team, Operations, Claims/Disbursements, Deals Desk, Compliance, Accounting, Treasury, Chartering, Risk management, IT.
