We’re looking for a software engineer to join our algorithmic trading team. You’ll be working to collect and analyze historical cryptocurrency price and trading data to propose new strategies using big data, machine learning and natural language processing.Responsibilities

Το Ελληνικό Ινστιτούτο Πληροφορικής (ΕΙΠ) της Ελληνικής Εταιρίας Διοικήσεως Επιχειρήσεων (ΕΕΔΕ) διοργανώνει για 23ο χρόνο το διήμερο Banking Forum που αποτελεί ένα χώρο προβολής των επιτευγμάτων των τραπεζών και ανταλλαγής απόψεων για το μέλλον του τραπεζικού επιχειρείν και των τεχνολογιών πληροφορικής. Στην εκδήλωση, συμμετέχουν τράπεζες και εταιρίες πληροφορικής που παρουσιάζουν όλες τις τελευταίες εξελίξεις στους τομείς των τραπεζών και της πληροφορικής.
Στην προσπάθεια αυτή, θεωρείται πολύ σημαντικό να συμμετέχουν, εκτός των τραπεζικών στελεχών και των στελεχών πληροφορικής, νέοι επιστήμονες που θα έχουν τη δυνατότητα να παρακολουθήσουν από κοντά τις εξελίξεις που πραγματοποιούνται με γοργούς ρυθμούς τόσο στον τραπεζικό τομέα, όσο και της πληροφορικής.
Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, προσφέρεται η δυνατότητα συμμετοχής φοιτητών του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς με το ποσό των 80 ευρώ κατ’ άτομο, αντί του αρχικού κόστους συμμετοχής των συνέδρων (300 ευρώ) και του φοιτητικού κόστους (150 ευρώ), προκειμένου να παρακολουθήσουν τις εργασίες του συνεδρίου, περιλαμβανομένων του υλικού του Banking Forum, του δείπνου της πρώτης ημέρας και του γεύματος της δεύτερης ημέρας.
ΣΚΟΠΟΣ
Σκοπός του 23ου Banking Forum είναι η αναζήτηση του επιχειρηματικού μοντέλου των τραπεζών σε συνθήκες οικονομικής κρίσης, το νέο μοντέλο των υπηρεσιών πληρωμών όπου το περιβάλλον είναι ιδιαίτερα ανταγωνιστικό, η ασφάλεια στον κυβερνοχώρο και οι προκύπτουσες απειλές για το Banking απασχολούν τις τράπεζες διαχρονικά για να λειτουργούν σε πάντοτε σε ασφαλές περιβάλλον, ο ρόλος της καινοτομίας στον τραπεζικό χώρο από επιχειρηματική και τεχνολογική σκοπιά, οι προβλέψεις για την πορεία της ελληνικής οικονομίας και του τραπεζικού συστήματος, καθώς και οι μεγάλες προκλήσεις που έχουν να αντιμετωπίσουν οι τράπεζες.
Ο χώρος των υπηρεσιών πληρωμών είναι ιδιαίτερα ανταγωνιστικός ενώ και νέες μορφές υπηρεσιών πληρωμών εμφανίζονται συμβάλλοντας στην περαιτέρω αύξηση του ανταγωνισμού. Το 23ο Banking Forum θα προσδιορίσει και θα αναλύσει το νέο περιβάλλον πληρωμών στον τραπεζικό χώρο από στελέχη που διαδραματίζουν σημαντικό ρόλο στη διαμόρφωση του.
Στο προβλεπόμενο Panel των Chief Economists των Ελληνικών Τραπεζών θα εκφραστούν οι θέσεις και απόψεις των κορυφαίων στελεχών των τραπεζών για την πορεία της ελληνικής οικονομίας και του τραπεζικού συστήματος. Ποιες είναι οι προκλήσεις της ελληνικής οικονομίας και των τραπεζών για τα επόμενα και οι προοπτικές του ελληνικού τραπεζικού συστήματος.
Οι παγκόσμιες επενδύσεις των επιχειρήσεων στον τομέα financial technology (FinTech) αυξάνουν εντυπωσιακά τα τελευταία χρόνια γεγονός που σηματοδοτεί ότι η ψηφιακή επανάσταση έχει φτάσει στον τομέα των χρηματοπιστωτικών υπηρεσιών και οι τράπεζες λαμβάνουν τολμηρά μέτρα για συνεργασία με επιχειρήσεις και ενσωμάτωση αναδυόμενων καινοτομιών.
Η ανοικτή καινοτομία είναι στο επίκεντρο της ψηφιακής επανάστασης. Για τους μεγάλους οργανισμούς, όπως οι τράπεζες, αυτό σημαίνει την υιοθέτηση και χρήση «εξωτερικής» τεχνολογίας, το άνοιγμα της πνευματικής τους ιδιοκτησίας και της τεχνογνωσίας τους σε καινοτόμους φορείς εκτός τράπεζας για να συμβάλουν στη δημιουργία νέων ιδεών, την αλλαγή κουλτούρας, τον εντοπισμό και την προσέλκυση νέων δεξιοτήτων που να συμβάλλουν στη δημιουργία αξίας και να οδηγούν σε νέες περιοχές επιχειρηματικής ανάπτυξης.
Η προσέγγιση αυτή θα επιτρέψει στις τράπεζες να αναδιατάξουν το επιχειρηματικό τους μοντέλο για να γίνει ευέλικτο και να προσαρμόζεται πιο εύκολα στις μεταβαλλόμενες συνθήκες.
Οι πελάτες απαιτούν καλύτερες υπηρεσίες, απρόσκοπτη πρόσβαση ανεξάρτητα από το κανάλι, και μεγαλύτερη αξία για τα χρήματά τους. Οι ρυθμιστικές αρχές απαιτούν περισσότερα από τον κλάδο, και έχουν αρχίσει να υιοθετούν νέες τεχνολογίες που φέρνουν την επανάσταση στην ικανότητα συλλογής και ανάλυσης πληροφοριών. Και ο ρυθμός της αλλαγής δεν δείχνει κανένα σημάδι επιβράδυνσης. Η αλλαγή που οφείλεται στην τεχνολογία δε θα αφήσει απρόσβλητο κανένα χρηματοπιστωτικό ίδρυμα και τα συστήματα πληροφορικής θα δέχονται συνεχείς πιέσεις προσαρμογής στις εκάστοτε μεταβαλλόμενες συνθήκες.
Η ασφάλεια στον κυβερνοχώρο και οι προκύπτουσες απειλές στο χώρο του Banking απασχολούν τις τράπεζες διαχρονικά και οι οποίες βελτιώνουν και προσαρμόζουν τα συστήματα τους στις μεταβαλλόμενες συνθήκες για να λειτουργούν σε ασφαλές περιβάλλον. - Απόφοιτο/η σχολών ασφαλιστικής ή οικονομικής κατεύθυνσης.
- Προϋπηρεσία σε οικονομικό τμήμα ασφαλιστικής εταιρίας ή ασφαλιστικού γραφείου επιθυμητή.
- Γνώση προγράμματος IW θα θεωρηθεί προσόν.
- Άριστη γνώση Η/Υ , Αγγλικών και Microsoft Office.
- Ευχέρεια στην επικοινωνία και ομαδικό πνεύμα.
