Accountant

Location: Kifisia, Attica-Greece Key Responsibilities:

• Posting and processing journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
• Updating accounts receivable and issuing invoices
• Updating accounts payable and performing reconciliations
• Process transactions according to stated procedures so that all transactions are recorded in a timely and accurate manner.
• Complying with Month End closing requirements and deadlines
• Reconciliation of GL accounts with subledgers/ Intercompanies transactions & balances / Accruals/ VAT / Withholding taxes
• Managing bank statements related GL reconciliations
• Any other task assigns by the team leader
• Preparation of periodic and ad hoc reports as requested by management

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Accounting, ideally within a structured accounting team in a corporate setting.
• Excellent use of Computer applications in Microsoft office suite
• Professional fluency in English is essential, both written and oral
• Experience & knowledge of ERP system will be an asset

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent discipline.
• Master’s Degree in Computer Science will be considered as an asset.

• Fluency in Greek and in English, both written and spoken.
• Excellent command of MS-Office applications.
• Basic knowledge of Active Directory, as well as experience with ticketing systems such as JIRA, will be considered a plus.
• Attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
