Responsibilities

  • Actuarial pricing of Individual/Group Life and Health products and schemes.
  • Use stochastic models of the Group to develop and price risk-transfer solutions.
  • Actuarial reserving.
  • Define and implement data/portfolio analysis and reporting requirements.
  • Monitor and report on Market and Product developments
  • Monitor portfolio performance and support the production of experience analysis
    studies, ensuring the highest quality data.
  • Develop/Understand Analytic-tools of the Group, as basis to identify trends and
    subsequently develop products/solutions.
  • Report and present findings (internally and at Clients), initiate best practices and
    innovate solutions.
  • Support on Management Information (quarterly, annual, ad hoc) Reports.
  • Understand business processes and workflows and make recommendations.
  • Assist project managers in optimizing scope, benefits and risks.
  • Be constantly alert for ways to improve monitoring, discover challenges and deliver
    better value to the customer.
  • Ensure all documents are reviewed, clarified, organized, and conformed toorganizational standards.

Reports to the Risk Manager Education – Knowledge

Skills – Competencies

  • Actuarial Certification. University level degree (or higher education institute) in Actuarial Science or mathematics.
  • Expected to have 3+ years’ experience in Life and Health Insurance Industry / Analysis. Profound understanding of the Life & Health insurance business.

Skills – Competencies

  • Advanced research & analytical skills.
  • Excellent skills in excel, in data analysis and database software like R.
  • Sound knowledge of the Solvency II regime an advantage.
  • Ability to perform multi-tasks under a work-intense business environment.
  • Excellent Greek and English verbal and writing skills.
  • Preparedness to travel occasionally to the headquarters in Munich
  • A thorough and accurate working style
