MIS – Business Analyst
The ideal candidate will be required to perform the following tasks:
- Analyse portfolio exposures and viability scores
- Conduct portfolio analysis and present results to management teams in a logical, comprehensive manner
- Be familiar with banking parameters, and review these on a regular basis
- Prepare review materials on periodical performance
- Develop tools to enhance and streamline data used in client portfolio reviews
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data.
- Produce a series of MIS reports on a standard or/and ad -hoc basis.
- Use various software applications, such as spreadsheets, relational databases, and statistical packages to assemble, manipulate and/or format data and/or reports.
- Perform various financial and operational analyses on actual figures and create forecasts and trends
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or Statistics, postgraduate degree in Finance or Statistics would be an asset
- Excellent Knowledge of SPSS.
- Fluency in English.
- Excellent Knowledge of MS Office.
- Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and delivering end results, to tight deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
