Το πρόγραμμα αφορά στην εφαρμογή ενός βιώσιμου μοντέλου ανάπτυξης που θα ενσωματώνει τις αξίες της φύσης στην οικονομία και στην κοινωνία και προβλέπει παρεμβάσεις και στους τρεις παραπάνω τομείς με σκοπό την προώθηση αναπτυξιακών έργων, τη δημιουργία νέων οικονομικών δραστηριοτήτων, την ενίσχυση των εκπαιδευτικών και πολιτιστικών δομών και την ενδυνάμωση της κοινωνίας. Ειδικότερα η πρόταση περιλαμβάνει μία σύνθεση ταυτόχρονων δράσεων σε επίπεδο ενίσχυσης υποδομών και δραστηριοτήτων στους τομείς της εκπαίδευσης, του πολιτισμού, του αθλητισμού, της αγροτικής ανάπτυξης και της περιβαλλοντικής διαχείρισης. Η υποστήριξη των τοπικών σχολείων, της Δημοτικής Βιβλιοθήκης, και του μοναδικού αθλητικού κέντρου της περιοχής θα συμβάλουν στη βελτίωση των παρεχόμενων υπηρεσιών, στην ενίσχυση της εξωστρέφειας και στις ευκαιρίες δημιουργικής απασχόλησης των παιδιών. Παράλληλα με τις παρεμβάσεις στην εκπαίδευση και στον αθλητισμό, οι πιλοτικές «πράσινες» δράσεις σε τομείς που έχει γίνει προεργασία και έχει ήδη αποδειχθεί η ωριμότητα τους, όπως τα φαρμακευτικά-καλλωπιστικά φυτά, τα βιολογικά φασόλια και η μελισσοκομία θα συμβάλουν στην ποικιλοποίηση και την ενίσχυση της ανταγωνιστικότητας του αγροτικού τομέα. Ο οικοτουρισμός αποτελεί έναν επιπλέον πυλώνα που θα ασχοληθεί το πρόγραμμα, προωθώντας την εσωτερική οργάνωση του τομέα και τη συστηματική προβολή του σε εξειδικευμένα κοινά τουριστών, όπως οι φυσιολάτρες και ορνιθο- παρατηρητές. Παράλληλα με τις πράσινες δράσεις στην οικονομία το πρόγραμμα θα υποστηρίξει τις δράσεις προστασίας του υγροτόπου που έχουν ως επίκεντρο τη διαχείριση του υγροτόπου και την προστασία της βιοποικιλότητας σε άμεση σύνδεση με την ανθρώπινη δραστηριότητα και την προώθηση της ισορροπίας Άνθρωπος & Φύση. Η πιο σημαντική δομή όμως που θα συμβάλει το πρόγραμμα είναι η δημιουργία της Τοπικής Ομάδας Δράσης η οποία είναι κομβικής σημασίας τόσο για την επιτυχία του όλου εγχειρήματος όσο και για τη βιωσιμότητα του. Πρόκειται για τον συνδετικό κρίκο και σημείο αναφοράς των παρεμβάσεων που θα πραγματοποιηθούν στους τομείς του περιβάλλοντος, της οικονομίας και της κοινωνίας. Το πρόγραμμα αποτελεί αναπόσπαστο μέρος του αναπτυξιακού σχεδιασμού της περιοχής και υλοποιούν η Εταιρία Προστασίας Πρεσπών (κεντρικός φορέας υλοποίησης), ο Δήμος Πρεσπών (εταίρος), η Κοινωφελής Επιχείρηση του Δήμου Πρεσπών, ο Αγροτικός Συνεταιρισμός Φασολοπαραγωγών Ε.Δ. Πρεσπών «Πελεκάνος» (εταίρος), ο Πολιτιστικός, Αθλητικός & Περιβαλλοντικός Σύλλογος Αγίου Γερμανού (εταίρος) και άλλοι τοπικοί φορείς, με τη συγχρηματοδότηση του Ιδρύματος Σταύρος Νιάρχος. Κύριες αρμοδιότητες: Ο Συντονιστής υπό την επίβλεψη της Διευθύντριας της Εταιρίας Προστασίας Πρεσπών θα κατέχει κομβικό συντονιστικό ρόλο μεταξύ των εταίρων του προγράμματος, της τοπικής κοινωνίας και των δωρητών, με κύριες αρμοδιότητες:

• Τον συντονισμό, την οργάνωση υλοποίησης, την επίβλεψη και την αξιολόγηση των προβλεπόμενων δράσεων, βάσει του εγκεκριμένου προγραμματισμού, του προϋπολογισμού και του χρονοδιαγράμματος.
• Την υποστήριξη της ίδρυσης και της λειτουργίας της Ομάδας Τοπικής Δράσης, του θεσμικού οργάνου που θα διασφαλίσει τη συνέπεια στην ολοκληρωμένη αναπτυξιακή στρατηγική για την περιοχή των Πρεσπών που έχουν σχεδιάσει οι τοπικοί φορείς.
• Τον συντονισμό και την υποστήριξη της συνεργασίας με τους εμπλεκόμενους φορείς (εταίρους, τοπικές/περιφερειακές αρχές, δωρητές) για την υλοποίηση των δράσεων, και τη διατήρηση σχέσεων επικοινωνίας και συνεργασίας με την Τοπική Κοινωνία.
• Τη σύνταξη αναφορών για την εξέλιξη του προγράμματος.
• Την χρηματοοικονομική παρακολούθηση του προγράμματος σε συνεργασία με τοΟικονομικό Τμήμα της ΕΠΠ
• Τη δημιουργία επικοινωνιακού υλικού για την προώθηση των δράσεων και τωναποτελεσμάτων του προγράμματος σε τοπικό, περιφερειακό και διεθνές επίπεδο, σε συνεργασία με το Τμήμα Επικοινωνίας της ΕΠΠ και τους συμμετέχοντες φορείς.

Απαραίτητα Προσόντα

• Σπουδές (πτυχίο ή/και μεταπτυχιακό) στους τομείς των Οικονομικών ή Κοινωνικών, ή Νομικών επιστημών ή σχετικές με Διοίκηση Επιχειρήσεων ή Δημόσια Διοίκηση ή Περιφερειακή Ανάπτυξη ή Διαχείριση Έργων.
• Επαγγελματική εμπειρία 3 τουλάχιστον ετών σε υλοποίηση Προγραμμάτων και στον συντονισμό σύνθετων και πολύ-συμμετοχικών προγραμμάτων με άμεσο αντίκτυπο στις τοπικές κοινωνίες
• Ικανότητα ανάλυσης και στρατηγικής διαχείρισης σύνθετων ζητημάτων και επίλυσης αντιθέσεων

The Representation of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Greece invites candidates to apply for the following internship vacancy:   Operational Context: There are some 50,000 refugees and migrants currently hosted in Greece. In 2017, A TOTAL 29,720 people arrived by sea, and some 5,500 by the GREECE-TURKEY land border, the majority from Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan. UNHCR supports the Government, WHICH coordinates the refugee and migrant response, in the development of policy, with capacity building and targeted interventions in the areas of reception, asylum procedures, and for solutions. The situation has greatly improved in the mainland since 2015. There, people are hosted in 27 Government-run sites (camp-like and buildings), as well as in rented housing provided by UNHCR through municipalities and NGOs for some 22,000 asylum-seekers and refugees. Additionally, UNHCR delivers a cash assistance programme, which benefited 37,600 people in December 2017. The situation is more challenging on the islands where there is not enough capacity to accommodate the 13,000 people who have arrived recently, or are awaiting the completion of their asylum procedures. UNHCR is in response supporting the Government transfer those authorized to move to the mainland to continue their applications, along other types of support. In 2018, UNHCR will continue to implement the cash assistance and accommodation programmes as part of its support to the Government in the areas of reception, asylum procedures, and solutions. A significant part of UNHCR’s work in Greece is related to coordination and the organisation is chairing/co-chairing a number of sector-specific inter-agency Working Groups, which involve relevant Greek authorities and national and international NGOs. In this context, sharing of accurate and timely information with stakeholders is critical. Apart from, information management, including systematized collection, storage and analysis of standardized and harmonized information, is an important tool for the implementation of UNHCR’s protection mandate. Information management is also critical for raising awareness of the plight of asylum-seekers and refugees through proactive and reactive media relations and web platforms. Functional Statement: The Information/ Data Management Intern will be part of UNHCR Thessaloniki Sub-Office and work under supervision of the Senior Data Management Assistant. Responsibility: The intern will provide assistance in the production and dissemination of information on the population of concern to UNHCR (POC), i.e. asylum-seekers and refugees, and thereby contribute to a full spectrum of information management and database administration service to the UNHCR Sub-Office in Thessaloniki. More specifically, s/he will be contributing in the following duties and responsibilities:
