Ημερίδα «Data Analytics and Machine Learning for Insurance Fraud Detection»

  Τα Ακαδημαϊκά Τμήματα «Οργάνωσης και Διοίκησης Επιχειρήσεων» και «Στατιστικής και Ασφαλιστικής Επιστήμης» του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς, υπό την αιγίδα της Ένωσης Ασφαλιστικών Εταιριών Ελλάδος και του Συνδέσμου Ελλήνων Μεσιτών Ασφαλίσεων συνδιοργανώνουν την επιστημονική ημερίδα «Data Analytics and Machine Learning for Insurance Fraud Detection» την Τετάρτη 21 Οκτωβρίου  2020 στον χώρο του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς. Βασικός σκοπός της εκδήλωσης είναι τόσο η έγκυρη επιστημονική ενημέρωση και η συνεισφορά στη θωράκιση των ιδιωτικών και δημόσιων οργανισμών απέναντι στον κίνδυνο της απάτης. Στο πλαίσιο αυτό, οι λήπτες αποφάσεων της ασφαλιστικής αγοράς θα ενημερωθούν για τις δυνατότητες που δίνουν τα Data Analytics και το Machine Learning στην ανίχνευση της ασφαλιστικής απάτης. Την ημερίδα θα τιμήσει ο Υπουργός Ανάπτυξης και Επενδύσεων, κ. Άδωνις Γεωργιάδης και θα απευθύνει χαιρετισμό ο Πρύτανης του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς καθηγητής Άγγελος Κότιος. Μεταξύ των εισηγητών θα είναι ο Γενικός Γραμματέας Έρευνας και Τεχνολογίας του Υπουργείου Ανάπτυξης και Επενδύσεων Ομότιμος Καθηγητής, κ. Αθανάσιος Κυριαζής, η Γενική Διευθύντρια της Ένωσης Ασφαλιστικών Εταιριών Ελλάδος, κα Μαργαρίτα Αντωνάκη, ο Πρόεδρος του Συνδέσμου Ελλήνων Μεσιτών Ασφαλίσεων, κ. Μιχαήλ Τζωρτζωρής, και ο Καθηγητής Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς, Τμήμα Στατιστικής και Ασφαλιστικής Επιστήμης, κ. Μιλτιάδης Νεκτάριος. Επίσης, θα λάβουν τον λόγο ο Πρόεδρος Αρχής Προστασίας Δεδομένων Προσωπικού Χαρακτήρα, κ. Κωνσταντίνος Μενουδάκος, o Πρόεδρος της Επιτροπής Υγείας και μέλος του Διοικητικού Συμβουλίου της Ένωσης Ασφαλιστικών Εταιριών Ελλάδος, κ. Ιωάννης Καντώρος, ο Υποστράτηγος ε.α. και τέως Βοηθός Προϊσταμένου Επιτελείου του Αρχηγείου της Ελληνικής Αστυνομίας, κ. Εμμανουήλ Σφακιανάκης, ο Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής στο McCoy College of Business του Πανεπιστημίου του Τέξας, κ.Tahir Ekin, και ο Αναπληρωτής Καθηγητής και Πρόεδρος του Τμήματος Στατιστικής και Ασφαλιστικής Επιστήμης Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς, κ. We would like to invite you to the upcoming Oπe\n 2020 conf, an annual technical conference that started in March 2019. You can have a refresher of 2019 by watching a short video. You can also check all presentation and a lot of photos on our Webpage. Oπe\n is co-organized by a committee from Nokia Hellas and 23 major open communities of Athens like Openstack, Docker, Kubernetes, Agile, Cloud, etc. Its vision is to interconnect and foster the technology ecosystem in Greece, so that it helps it gain a prominent position evolving to a big draw for other companies in the area, while contributing to the reduction of brain drain. The organizing committee have worked hard to make Oπe\n 2020 come true, building upon the success of 2019. This time, the topics will be:

1. Infrastructure (Containers, Orchestration, Serverless, FaaS, Integration and Security) and
2. Applications ( AI/ ML, Data Analytics / Fast Data / Big Data, IOT security and scaling, Cloud native).

Oπe\n conf 2020 will take place on November 5^th, 6^th, and 7^th 2020 online. Free registration to attend the conference is now available in Oπe\n’s web site. Kindly notice that this year, the conference consists of:

  • Deep Learning in Computer Vision, by Code.Hub

This event will allow visibility to hundreds of developers and networking with world class experts in this area, chosen via a CFP (Call For Presentation) procedure.
