Islanders – A high impact project for our business and talent For several years, Diageo Hellas has been successfully running an extended seasonal coverage program through our complementary Sales force (called ‘Islanders’) in major touristic areas across Greece. Basic purpose is to effectively manage and develop selected outlets on designated islands, where the Islander will be temporarily based, in order to deliver the commercial KPIs and brand building objectives expressed in the commercial plan, with the support of their line manager. Main accountabilities include agreements and follow up on orders from the customers, relationship management and sales drivers’ activation: visibility, promotion (execution and evaluation of events), persuasion (introduction of Diageo new products or brands to customers, building of interpersonal relations, product training), quality (products’ perfect appearance, evaluation of unbranded demand, perfect serve training on premise staff), distribution and price. The duration of the program is typically around seven months, from mid-March to mid-October. A permanent contract can be offered upon completion of the project, depending on great performance in the role and available positions at the time. Ο ασκούμενος/η θα πρέπει να φοιτά σε Τμήμα Διεθνών Σπουδών Ελληνικού Πανεπιστημίου, να γνωρίζει πολύ καλά αγγλικά και να έχει τη δυνατότητα χειρισμού Η/Υ. Το Ινστιτούτο Διεθνών Οικονομικών Σχέσεων (Ι.Δ.Ο.Σ.) κάθε χρόνο καλύπτει τριάντα κενές θέσεις σε δύο περιόδους, διάρκειας τριών μηνών, με προπτυχιακούς φοιτητές για πρακτική άσκηση και ανάληψη βοηθητικών ερευνητικών καθηκόντων (internship), με κύρια έμφαση στη διεθνή πολιτική οικονομία, στις διεθνείς οικονομικές σχέσεις και στο επιχειρηματικό, οικονομικό και πολιτικό περιβάλλον της Αλβανίας, της Πρώην Γιουγκοσλαβικής Δημοκρατίας της Μακεδονίας, της Ρουμανίας, της Βουλγαρίας, της Τουρκίας καθώς και για τις περιοχές της Μέσης Ανατολής, της Αφρικής και της Ασίας.
Οι ασκούμενοι φοιτούν σε Τμήματα οικονομικών σπουδών/ πολιτικής επιστήμης/ διεθνών σπουδών/ μέσων μαζικής ενημέρωσης, και ως βασικά απαραίτητα προσόντα κρίνονται η άριστη γνώση μιας τουλάχιστον ξένης γλώσσας και η δυνατότητα χειρισμού Η/Υ. Στα πλαίσια της πρακτικής άσκησης, οι ασκούμενοι είναι υποχρεωμένοι να έχουν τετράωρη παρουσία, τρεις φορές την εβδομάδα, στο Ινστιτούτο Διεθνών Οικονομικών Σχέσεων.
Αιτήσεις γίνονται δεκτές συνήθως κάθε τέλος Σεπτεμβρίου και τέλος Ιανουαρίου (για τη δεύτερη περίοδο) αναλόγως και με την εκάστοτε σχετική προκήρυξη. Στα πλαίσια της πρακτικής άσκησης οι φοιτητές που επιλέγονται αναλαμβάνουν βοηθητικές και ερευνητικές εργασίες, συμμετέχουν στην προετοιμασία και διεξαγωγή των σεμιναρίων και διαλέξεων που πραγματοποιεί το Ινστιτούτο κάθε έτος καθώς και στην προετοιμασία διαφόρων προτάσεων για ερευνητικά προγράμματα.
