Short Description – Duties and Responsibilities: Business Development Manager The successful candidate is expected to:

• Network and attract new collaborations, including the identification of new opportunities for technology transfer, Intellectual Property (IP), and entrepreneurship stemming from the Center’s research activities, and liaising with industrial partners and stakeholders to develop long-lasting collaboration opportunities based on the expertise and goals of the Center.
• Contribute to the Identification and management of the Center’s IP and seek IP exploitation opportunities.
• Contribute to the overall strategic decisions of the innovation hub and the KIOS CoE in general, participate in internal committees of the Center, and contribute actively to the training, education, and dissemination activities of the KIOS CoE.
• Collaborate with the Innovation Hub Project Manager for the successful implementation of innovation and technology transfer projects and activities.

Innovation Hub Project Manager The successful candidate is expected to:

• Manage innovation and technology transfer projects and activities. This includes overseeing the progress and successful completion of innovation hub projects, contributing towards dissemination and communication activities managed by the innovation hub, coordinating efforts to implement standard operating procedures and key performance indicators relevant to the innovation hub, and coordinating the administrative and financial requirements for innovation proposals preparation.
• Collaborate with the Business Development Manager for managing the Center’s relationships with the industry.
• Contribute to the identification and management of the Center’s IP, by maintaining the IP audit list of the Center, providing advice for IP opportunities, and managing IP processes and procedures.
• Contribute to the overall strategic decisions of the innovation hub and the KIOS CoE in general, participate in internal committees of the Center, and contribute actively to the training, education, and dissemination activities of the KIOS CoE.

Required knowledge:

• Administration and Management: advanced knowledge of business and management principles involved in project coordination, strategic planning, business relations and development, risk management, resource allocation and coordination.
• IP and Entrepreneurship: advanced knowledge of managing IP and entrepreneurial processes.
• Engineering and Technology: Understanding of the use of science, engineering and technology in solving practical problems.
• Strong knowledge of EU and local legal system and relevant regulations pertaining to the activities of the Center.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English language.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Business or Natural & Applied Sciences or Engineering or Social Sciences or other related field from an accredited institution.

Employment Terms:

Each position is on a contract basis. Initially, a two-year contract with a 6-month probation period will be offered, which is renewable based on performance. The gross monthly salary depends on the candidate’s qualifications and experience and will be between €2700 – €4500. From this amount, employee contributions to the Cyprus government funds will be deducted. A 13th salary bonus is incorporated in the monthly salary. Το Κέντρο Αριστείας για Έρευνα και Καινοτομία «Κοίος» προσφέρει δέκα (10) υποτροφίες για φοίτηση στο Μεταπτυχιακό Πρόγραμμα Σπουδών στα «Ευφυή Συστήματα Υποδομών Ζωτικής Σημασίας» για το ακαδημαϊκό έτος 2023-2024. Το Πρόγραμμα προσφέρεται από το Τμήμα Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου, σε συνεργασία με το Κέντρο Αριστείας για Έρευνα και Καινοτομία «Κοίος» και το Imperial College London. Το Κέντρο Αριστείας για Έρευνα και Καινοτομία «Κοίος» του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου δέχεται αιτήσεις για την παραχώρηση πέντε (5) υποτροφιών για Διδακτορικούς φοιτητές και φοιτήτριες πλήρους φοίτησης. Οι φοιτητές και φοιτήτριες που θα επιλεγούν θα εγγραφούν είτε στο πρόγραμμα Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών είτε Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών του Τμήματος Ηλεκτρολόγων Μηχανικών και Μηχανικών Υπολογιστών (ΗΜΜΥ) του Πανεπιστημίου Κύπρου. • Design a long-term forecasting methodology to estimate the load demand and the total photovoltaic installations in each substation of Electricity Authority of Cyprus.

• Copies of transcripts of BSc/MSc or other degree(s)
• A detailed curriculum vitae in English or in Greek
• Copy of English language certificate
• Identify at least two referees that can provide reference letters.

Σύντομη περιγραφή- Δια ζώσης σεμινάριο με θέμα: «Διαχείριση χρόνου και αναβλητικότητα» Το σεμινάριο  «Διαχείριση χρόνου και αναβλητικότητα», διάρκειας 90’, θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τρίτη 31/1/2023, 10.00-11.30 μ.μ. δια ζώσης, στο Γραφείο Διασύνδεσης του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς, Ζέας 80-82. Τα μέσα διεξαγωγής του σεμιναρίου περιλαμβάνουν εκπαιδευτικό υλικό σε μορφή powerpoint, χρήση ερωτήσεων και διαλόγου, καθώς επίσης και βιωματική άσκηση. Αναμένεται μετά το πέρας του σεμιναρίου οι συμμετέχοντες/-ουσες να έχουν:

• κατανοήσει τί είναι η διαχείριση χρόνου, γιατί είναι τόσο σημαντική και ποια τα οφέλη της στην καθημερινότητά μας.
• εκπαιδευθεί σε διάφορες τεχνικές διαχείρισης χρόνου.
• αντιληφθεί την έννοια της αναβλητικότητας και του πώς μπορούμε να γίνουμε λιγότερο αναβλητικοί και περισσότερο πειθαρχημένοι.

Το σεμινάριο λαμβάνει χώρα στο πλαίσιο της υλοποίησης του Έργου «Κοινωνική Μέριμνα Φοιτητών Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς». *Σημειώνεται ότι για τη συμμετοχή στο εργαστήριο είναι απαραίτητη η χρήση προστατευτικής μάσκας.

Σύντομη περιγραφή- Δια ζώσης σεμινάριο αυτογνωσίας: «Ανακαλύπτω τις προσωπικές μου δυνάμεις» Το σεμινάριο αυτογνωσίας «Ανακαλύπτω τις προσωπικές μου δυνάμεις», διάρκειας 90’, θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τρίτη 31/1/2023, 14.00-15.30 μ.μ. δια ζώσης, στο Γραφείο Διασύνδεσης του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς, Ζέας 80-82. Τα μέσα και οι τεχνικές που θα χρησιμοποιούν στη διάρκεια του σεμιναρίου θα είναι οι στοχευμένες ερωτήσεις, ο διάλογος και ένα εύρος βιωματικών ασκήσεων μέσα από τα οποία θα μας δοθεί η ευκαιρία να εξερευνήσουμε διάφορες πτυχές του εαυτού μας. Αναμένεται μετά το πέρας του σεμιναρίου οι συμμετέχοντες/-ουσες να έχουν:

• κατανοήσει την έννοια και το εύρος των πιθανών εσωτερικών τους δυνάμεων
• ανακαλύψει κάποια από τα δυνατά σημεία του εαυτού τους
• ενισχύσει την αυτό-εικόνα και αυτοεκτίμησή τους

Σύντομη περιγραφή- Δια ζώσης σεμινάριο επαγγελματικής ανάπτυξης: «Αξιοποιώ τις θετικές μου δυνάμεις στο σχεδιασμό σταδιοδρομίας» Το σεμινάριο επαγγελματικής ανάπτυξης «Αξιοποιώ τις θετικές μου δυνάμεις στο σχεδιασμό σταδιοδρομίας», διάρκειας 90’, θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τρίτη 31/1/2023, 12.00-13.30 μ.μ. δια ζώσης, στο Γραφείο Διασύνδεσης του Πανεπιστημίου Πειραιώς, Ζέας 80-82. Τα μέσα και οι τεχνικές που θα χρησιμοποιηθούν για τη διεξαγωγή του σεμιναρίου περιλαμβάνουν στοχευμένες ερωτήσεις και διάλογο, χορήγηση ψυχομετρικών εργαλείων αξιολόγησης θετικών παραγόντων (αισιοδοξία, επαγγελματική προσαρμοστικότητα, θάρρος) σε έντυπη και ηλεκτρονική μορφή, όπως επίσης, επεξεργασία μελέτης περίπτωσης (case study). Αναμένεται μετά το πέρας του σεμιναρίου οι συμμετέχοντες/-ουσες να έχουν:

• κατανοήσει το ρόλο που διαδραματίζουν οι θετικοί εσωτερικοί τους πόροι στη διαχείριση ζητημάτων σταδιοδρομίας σε κρίσιμες περιόδους, που χαρακτηρίζονται από σημαντικές αλλαγές στην οργάνωση της ζωής και της εργασίας.
• εκπαιδευθεί στο πώς θα στηρίζονται στις θετικές τους δυνάμεις στην αναζήτηση εργασίας.
• μάθει να διαχειρίζονται μη προγραμματισμένες καταστάσεις προς όφελος της επαγγελματικής τους ανάπτυξης.
• εμβαθύνει σε αποτελεσματικές στρατηγικές διασύνδεσης με την αγορά εργασίας.
