Business Intelligence Developer, as a member of a larger team, will be responsible for delivering solutions to customers seeking to exploit data and create valuable insights.
The BI Developer will design, implement and support business intelligence solutions, integrated in a skilled and experienced team of analytics professionals.
Key responsibilities include:
Gathering of business requirements
Participation in the design of the suitable solution
Data discovery in source systems
Extraction, transformation and loading of data
Design, implementation & improvement of reports
REQUIREMENTS
- Very good educational background in IT or in a numerate discipline (such as Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering), ideally combined with a related Master’s degree (Statistics, Analytics, Big Data etc.)
- At least 1 year of experience in analytics or reporting
- Excellent knowledge of SQL
- Very good knowledge of at least 2 of the following: MDX, SSIS, SSAS, DAX, Python, R & analytics tools (such as QlikView, Power Bi ,Tableau, TARGIT etc.)
- Ability to meet travel requirements, when applicable
- Eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Good communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
- Previous working experience in Insurance will be considered a strong plus
