Trekking Hellas, wishes to hire a member for the headquarters office (based in Marousi).
Department: Incoming Tourism Operations.
Description – Tasks
- Ensure excellent and complete organization of trips in Greece, manage, and supervise all offered services (air tickets, ferry tickets, accommodation, activities etc…)
- Efficient communication and negotiation with the local providers aiming in closing best deal possible price and quality wise as well as best possible payment and cancellation conditions.
- Communication with collaborating travel agents and FITs from abroad.
- Excellent and continuous communication and cooperation with the Sales Department concerning drafting, preparing and checking of the programs, finance and quality wise.
- Excellent cooperation with the Accounting Department concerning the follow-up of incoming and outgoing payments and related invoices.
- Training, recruitment and coordination of guides – facilitators necessary to operate the trips
Required
- Degree in Tourism or Business Administration.
- Fluent knowledge of Greek and excellent knowledge of English (speaking and writing).
- Excellent knowledge of at least the following software programs: excel, power point, word, online booking platforms, online meeting programs, CRM or similar
- Team spirit
- Excellent organizational, communication and negotiation skills.
- High adaptability and flexibility
The following will be highly appreciated:
- Personal or professional experience in outdoors activities
- Good knowledge of a 3rd language (preferably German and French)
- Previous travel experience and availability to travel within Greece.
- Familiarity with good practices concerning the environment
