seeks to recruit a Junior Insurance Officer for its Insurance Department.
Main responsibilities:
- Communicates, coordinates and maintains the appointments agenda between the Insurance Manager and other departments and/or third parties/insurance contacts
- Maintains office files and records
- Assists in all administrative activities
- Receives and refers visitors and telephone callers
- Distributes mail and responds with formal letters to routine requests
- Assembles relevant data as directed
- Produces a variety of correspondence and reports
- Handles administrative aspects of Group Medical Program
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in relevant field (Business Administration, Insurance, Maritime, Law).
- Shipping industry experience and specifically in operations and claims functions will be considered an asset
- Excellent knowledge of English
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office, knowledge of SAP will be considered an asset
- Driven with good organizational skills and ability to resolve conflicts smoothly
- Excellent communication skills, building relationships easily, high empathy
