Vacancy description
In the context of implementing EC-funded projects (currently in the Grant Agreement preparation phase, expected to start soon), the Department of Informatics and Telematics of the Harokopio University of Athens (Athens, Greece) offers a full-time vacancy for a senior researcher and proposer position (MSc/PhD holder). The position is planned to be funded for at least the projects’ duration, i.e. minimum 2 years.

Responsibilities
- Activities related to the management of European projects (project monitoring, participation in project meeting, preparation of deliverables, etc.)
- Participation in research/RnD activities (including the supervision of BSc/PhD students, depending on personal research interests)
- Undertaking proposal preparation and writing activities for attracting (European/national) research funds
Requirements
- MSc/PhD degree in informatics, computer science, data science, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering or related fields
- Excellent command of English (both written and spoken)
Desired skills
- Previous experience in proposal writing activities
- Previous participation in EC-funded projects
- Scientific publications in areas related to computer vision, artificial intelligence, machine/deep learning, etc. (will be considered a plus)
- Experience with Tensorflow and/or PyTorch (or other similar) deep learning frameworks (will be considered a plus)
