Junior Distribution Analyst/ Distribution Coordinator
Objectives of this Role
- Improve, execute, and effectively communicate significant analyses that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business
- Participate in regular meetings with management, assessing and addressing issues to identify and implement improvements toward efficient operations
- Provide strong and timely business analytic decision
- Develop actionable roadmaps for improving workflows and processes, and establish and organize KPIs in line with global directives
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities
- Leverage data collection systems, export data from distribution agency’s platform, save them under specific format in server.
- Edit/Update company’s distribution/sales records in general shared file.
- Coordinate distribution process: communicate and ensure with distribution agency on delivering the launch quantities, ensure the collections reached the points of sale and check the box out.
- Update distribution launch specifications.
- Prepare merchandising forms and decide on merchandisers’ visits. Collect sales data of visits, edit data, make accurate estimations on sales of running launches
- Interpret data, analyze results using analytics, research methodologies, and statistical techniques
- Analyze and evaluate key performance indicators
- Building curves for estimating sales.
- Measure usage of packaging material and make forecasts for future needs.
- Work closely with the marketing department for analyzing KPIs affecting launches performance.
- Collect data from the competition, gain a good knowledge of the market, understand its strategies.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, business management, or economics
- Demonstrated advanced analytical skills on collecting, organizing, analyzing, and disseminating abundant information with accuracy
- The ability to write reports
- Good verbal, written, and visual communication skills
- Proficiency with statistics and dataset analytics (using mainly Excel, optional Power BI, R)
- Excellent command of the English language.
