Junior GL & Tax Accountant

Scope:
We are looking for a motivated Junior GL & Tax Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will manage daily financial transactions, post journal entries, perform bank reconciliations, and support month-end closing activities.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform bank reconciliations and investigate variances.
- Monitor and analyze debit balances of suppliers and credit balances of customers.
- Prepare and submit private agreements and related filings to the Greek tax authority (AADE).
- Prepare and submit INTRASTAT and VIES reports in compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Participate in the monthly financial closing process (month-end close).
Job Requirements:
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a similar qualification.
- At least 1 year of experience in finance or accounting.
- Strong knowledge of Excel.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Solid experience in double-entry bookkeeping in accordance with Category C accounting standards will be considered an asset.
