Logistics Senior Analyst (Fixed-term contract)

Brief Description
Barilla Hellas is seeking a Senior Analyst to join the Logistics team in Athens. Reporting directly to the Logistics EE Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of logistics activities and supporting the implementation of specific site projects in line with key priorities.
Key Accountabilities
- Manage all import activities, including carrier allocation, shipment follow‑up, and timely reporting.
- Coordinate export operations by assigning orders to carriers and securing bookings efficiently.
- Maintain daily communication with Carriers, Copackers, and Warehouse teams to ensure smooth logistics execution.
- Support month‑end closing by completing all required logistics activities accurately and on time.
- Monitor and report logistics costs on a monthly basis, including LCP, purchase orders, pre‑invoice documentation, and invoice receipts.
- Handle supplier claims, ensuring proper documentation, follow‑up, and resolution.
- Track and report Logistics KPIs, providing insights and improvement proposals.
- Oversee POD management, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Monitor pallet usage and related costs, ensuring alignment with budget and operational needs.
- Maintain an updated stock overview, supporting availability, accuracy, and inventory control.
- Manage reverse logistics processes, ensuring efficient returns and stock handling.
- Collect, evaluate, and archive supplier offers to support procurement and decision‑making.
- Act as a backup for repacking and reworking activities, ensuring continuity of operations when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of two years’ experience in Logistics
- Fluency in English
- Experience using SAP ERP
- Familiarity with Aberon WMS and the Transporeon platform will be considered an asset
- Excellent command of Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time management skills
