Payroll Specialist
We are the No1 company in the Greek cheese market, while through EPIROS we export authentic Greek taste to five continents, operating subsidiaries in the USA and in the UK. Apart from our core-cheese-business, we are present in butter, cream, yogurt, cereal bars and frozen pies categories. We own three states of the art Production Units as well as two innovative sheep & goat farms.
Scope:
A Payroll Specialist is responsible for various tasks related to payroll processing, based in Metamorfosi, Attica. Being part of our HR Team, you will have the opportunity to actively shape our employees’ future.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensures all payroll transactions are processed efficiently.
- Resolves payroll discrepancies.
- Collects monthly data from timekeeping and payroll systems.
- Processes for payroll changes (e.g. new hires, terminations, raises) and system upgrades.
- Ensures compliance with local payroll, wage, and hour laws and best practices.
- Maintains accurate records and prepares reports.
- Resolves issues and answers payroll-related questions.
Job Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience as a payroll officer or similar role.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration or another related field.
- Current knowledge of payroll procedures and related laws.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proven experience in ERGANI processing.
- Proficient with payroll software, ideally with SCAN HRMS.
- Outstanding communication skills (written and oral).
- Organizational and leadership skills.
