We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented FP&A Analyst to join our Finance team at IQVIA. The FP&A Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities within the organization. This position will be responsible for providing financial insights, preparing forecasts, analyzing business performance, and assisting in strategic decision-making. Additionally, the FP&A Analyst will manage the upload and maintenance of financial figures in Hyperion.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain complex financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning.
- Analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial performance against budget and forecast, identifying key trends and variances.
- Prepare detailed financial reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives.
- Manage the upload, reconciliation, and maintenance of financial data in Hyperion, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
- Assist in the annual budgeting process, coordinating with various departments to gather required information.
- Update and refine rolling forecasts based on actual performance and changing business conditions.
- Ensure alignment between financial forecasts and strategic objectives.
- Act as a financial advisor to business leaders, providing guidance on financial performance and potential risks and opportunities.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the FP&A function.
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. MBA or ACCA/CIMA preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning systems, particularly Hyperion.
- Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and BI tools (e.g Power BI).
- Familiarity with US GAAP and local accounting standards.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
