Are you passionate about creating positive social impact and securing funding for projects that make a difference? We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated “Bid Manager – Proposal Writer” to join our team. As a “Bid Manager – Proposal Writer”, you will play a crucial role in the development of successful proposals and bids for various EU funding programs, including E+, Horizon, AMIF, CERV, and private donor funds. Your focus will be on the social sector, with an emphasis on education, migration, human rights protection, employment and social economy, health promotion, green economy, culture, and health promotion.

Responsibilities:

  • Assume full responsibility for the entire proposal development process, from identifying funding opportunities to finalizing and submitting your assigned proposal(s).
  • Conduct in-depth research on funding programs, guidelines and eligibility criteria to ensure alignment of proposals with specific requirements.
  • Write, edit, and proofread proposals and documents, ensuring clarity, coherence, and compliance with program guidelines, and highlighting KMOP’s added value, impact, and innovative approaches.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather necessary information and input, including project managers, subject matter experts, and finance professionals.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with potential partners, programme authorities, and external stakeholders to gather support and strengthen collaborative efforts.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of the social sector, staying updated on relevant trends, policies, and best practices.
  • Support the post-submission process, including attending debriefings, concluding contractualization, and addressing any follow-up questions or requests for additional information.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in a relevant field (such as international relations, social sciences, or a related discipline). A PhD will be considered a strong asset.
  • Proven experience and successful track record in developing proposals and securing grants from EU funding programs and private donor funds.
  • Near-native use of English and excellent writing skills, with the ability to craft persuasive, clear, and concise proposals, tailored to specific funding programs.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills to ensure compliance with funding guidelines and eligibility criteria.
  • Strong knowledge of the social sector and familiarity with the fields of education, migration, human rights protection, employment and social economy, health promotion, green economy, culture, and health promotion.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, meet deadlines and gracefully manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with candidate partners, programme authorities, and stakeholders.
