Purpose of the Role
Acts as an IT partner for the Business Applications, translates business requirements to IT requirements and participates actively in the support, analysis, design, implementation, testing of requests in the current and new commercial systems (CRM systems & Web Portals)
Main Activities and Responsibilities
- Acts with professionalism, ethics and a high sense of responsibility and collegiality, at all times.
- Gathers, analyses and designs new business requirements for IS, evaluates requests, updates portfolio tracker and communicates request to application’s vendors.
- Develops and executes test scenarios, reports defects and resolve if possible. Reviews and confirms successful completion of test scenarios and organizes delivery of changes to production systems.
- Proposes application’s enhancements to better meet business needs and provides related documentation.
- Defines release plans, conducts Readiness Assessments and executes deployment plans as part of the Release Management & Service Introduction procedure.
- Performs feasibility assessments, outlines preferred solutions and implements changes.
- Performs ticket classification and investigation under existing SLAs and proceeds to resolution actions. Assesses severity on incidents reported from Key Users to provide 1st level and 2nd level support for applications of his/her responsibility and escalates issues for 3rd level support to the Business Application Manager or vendors and then evaluates solutions provided.
- Monitors data exchange/integration between applications of his/her duty and ensures integrity of data exchange between applications. Performs corrective actions in systems or data when required.
- Conducts configuration/ parameterization on systems of responsibility for customizing purposes. Performs or proposes tuning on systems resources for performance purposes.
- Maintains UAT systems and performs periodical update from production platforms ensuring that test environment landscape is provided for all applications.

Education
IT or Business-related field BSc
Relevant Professional Experience
Relevant working experience in IS Business Analysis, Design and support in Business Applications, preferably in the Utilities, Services or Telecom sectors
