IT Support Operator
Description
The role
The successful candidate will be part of the on site operators team providing shifting support on the operations of a complex IT environment consisted of many different platforms and facilitated by a large farm of privately virtual servers using relevant modern technologies and tools.
Requirements
Technical Framework:
- Basic Linux skills. The candidate should be able to work on a Linux Bash shell and know how to develop simple bash scripts as well as use the Cron scheduler.
- Monitoring skills. Should be able to monitor a variety of Linux systems using the built-in monitoring tools (ps, top, etc.). Knowledge of monitoring and alerting products like Tivoli Monitoring or Nagios will be considered a plus.
- The knowledge of Job Control Language and the basic knowledge of Scheduling platforms such as TWS or CA Control-M will be considered a plus.
Candidate Profile:
- A degree from University or Technical Education Institute (AEI, TEI, or certified IEK).
- Ability to work in two different shifts (12:00-20:00 and 19:00-03:00) five days per week, Monday to Friday.
- Good communication skills.
- Work effectively in a team environment.
