Junior Exports Sales Representative

Job Responsibilities

Junior Exports Sales Representative is responsible for generating and enhancing the sales of the products in other countries. They make sure that the products are made available in the international markets by analyzing the trends of the customers and developing sales plans and strategies to meet their needs.

Job Duties

  • The establishment of B2B industrial new customers’ relations and sales
  • Exploring new clientele development and further development of the existing through market research, personal networking, participation in exhibitions etc
  • Monitor, analyze and evaluate market trends and changes
  • Increasing business opportunities through various routes – business trips to market
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Achieving regional sales operational objectives by contributing regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; completing audits; identifying trends; determining regional sales system improvements.
  • Meeting regional sales financial objectives by forecasting requirements; scheduling expenditures;
  • Maintaining and expanding customer base by counseling district sales representatives – agents; building and maintaining rapport with key customers; identifying new customer opportunities.
  • Recommending product lines by identifying new product opportunities, and/or product, packaging, and service changes; surveying consumer needs and trends; tracking competitors.
  • Accomplishing sales and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
  • Prospect for new clients by networking, cold calling, advertising or other means of generating interest from potential clients. Must then plan persuasive approaches and pitches that will convince potential clients to do business with the company.
  • Develop a rapport with new clients, and set targets for sales and provide support that will continually improve the relationship.
  • Strategic planning is a key part of this job, since it is the sales manager’s responsibility to develop the pipeline of new business coming into the company. This requires a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Business
  • Postgraduate degree will be considered as an asset
  • Sound knowledge of English and Spanish and / or Portuguese language
  • Sound knowledge of any other language would be an asset.
  • Sound knowledge of ERP systems, MS Office and Internet

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of experience as a sales representative position
  • Experience in the food sales or FMCG or in a multinational company and environment will be considered as an asset
  • Previous experience in the juice industry will be considered as an asset
  • Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budgeting, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
  • Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills
  • Active and motivated person
  • Able to pursue and achieve goals
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to manage different responsibilities
  • Effective organization and planning work
  • Team player, critical thinker, flexible and structured

Required  license or certification:

  • Driver’s License
