JUNIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER
SARMED SA, a Greek company in the field of supply chain and third party logistics services seeks to hire a highly motivated Junior Software Engineer.
The Junior Software Engineer will be involved with company’s information systems such as WMS, ERP, Fleet Management and Routing.
Main responsibilities of the role are:
- Participate in the design and implementation of new IT projects delivering high-quality, flexible and maintainable code.
- Collaborate with new and existing customers, in Greece and abroad, in order to develop system interfaces and appropriate automations.
- Optimize current software and propose new technologies according to company’s needs
Job requirements
- Relevant University degree or equivalent
- Knowledge of any of the following would be an asset: SQL, .NET, C# or VB, EDIFACT, XML, JSON,SFTP, FTP, HTTPS, HTTP, AS2
- Knowledge of 3PL and warehouse operations as well as WMS systems will be considered a plus
- Fluency in Greek and English language (both oral and written)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A doer attitude
