Mandatory Internship: Project Management (f/m)

Founded in 2005 as a joint venture between Air France and Lufthansa Technik, Spairliners provides Component Support to airlines for Airbus A380, such as Air France and Qantas Airways, and to customers for Embraer E-Jet aircraft, such as Lufthansa Cityline and Alitalia CityLiner. After several years of operation, we guarantee a reliable provision of components to our customers. The services include the provisioning and management of the spare parts inventory, repair of components and the appropriate logistics. Besides its headquarters in Hamburg, Spairliners runs its main pool in Paris as well as several satellite pools in worldwide locations.

For our headquarters in Hamburg we are currently looking for a committed and conscientious student who is interested in gaining work experience in Projects, Processes and IT.
As an intern at Spairliners you will not only get an insight to the daily business of a young, dynamic and internationally operating company but also get the chance to support with many interesting and varying projects. Furthermore, you will oversee your own project, which you will be working on independently.

Your tasks:

• • Implement reliable knowledge management for the Department
  • Perform critical analysis and assessment of the method in place
  • Identify areas of improvement and propose recommendations
  • Implement the process (and document it) within the Department and in the proper (IT) Tools
  • Contribute to the Departments continuous improvement
  • Support ongoing topics

Your profile:

• • • Ongoing Enrolment to a Bachelor or Master Studies in Business, Engineering, IT or any related field
    • IT knowledge (SAP, Microsoft Cloud)
    • Experience in (or willingness to acquire) project management
    • Independent but meticulous way of working, analytical thinking, proactive,team player,diplomatic communication skills,international mind-set
    • Fluency in written and spoken English. German and/or French is a plus
    • Knowledge of Aerospace maintenance will be an added value

Starting date is 1st April 2018 and the duration is 6 months. The location of work is Hamburg, Germany.
