Intern in Contract Management (f/m)

Founded in 2005 as a joint venture between Air France and Lufthansa Technik, Spairliners provides Component Support to airlines for Airbus A380, such as Air France and Qantas Airways, and to customers for Embraer E-Jet aircraft, such as Lufthansa Cityline and Alitalia CityLiner. After several years of operation, we guarantee a reliable provision of components to our customers. The services include the provisioning and management of the spare parts inventory, repair of components and the appropriate logistics. Besides its headquarters in Hamburg, Spairliners runs its main pool in Paris as well as several satellite pools in worldwide locations.

We are looking for a new team-member! Our Supply Chain and Engineering department is in search for a can-do student with an affinity for contract design and management. You will be in charge of important projects like establishing and developing a new database, creation of various charts and performance indicators. Your tasks:

Main task is designing a contract database that shows all contracts inclusive the differences between Customer Contracts and Repair Contracts. In line with this you would have to:

  • Familiarize yourself with the contracts
  • Filter out (together with the contract Manger) valid conditions (hard facts)
  • Build up and implement a database for contract clarifications
  • Use the database of the Customer Service department to find the gaps between repair and customer contracts
  • Risk Mapping and Risk Validation (together with the Contract Manager) via KPIs
  • Build up an escalation sheet for all repair and logistic contracts on contract basis
  • Include process chart and workflow chart

Your profile:

  • Ongoing enrolment to Studies in Business Administration, Law, Engineering or similar
  • Fluency in written and spoken English and also happy to speak French or German
  • Work/internship experience is beneficial
  • Professional MS Office skills, especially Excel
  • Independent way of working, you can work individually and well in a team, very good communication skills, international mind-set
