Data Analyst

The Data Analyst performs standard and ad-hoc analyses and builds statistical models to continuously monitor business results and trends, support data-driven decision making and make actionable recommendations aligned with business needs.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Creates and maintains reports and dashboards that allow business stakeholders to continuously monitor performance in real time
  • Recommends actions by analyzing, comparing and interpreting data and effectively present changes to business owners or other audiences
  • Develops and maintains data preparation, quality, validation and aggregation, scalable and re-usable routines
  • Defines efficient KPIs to improve the existing processes and Performance Dashboards
  • Develops and implements simulation tools that model the inter-relationship between different parameters and facilitate business decision making
  • Identifies relevant tool optimization to achieve cost and quality efficiency
  • Develops and implements predictive models to forecast future estimated events

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Econometrics, Engineering, Operational Research or related analytical field. A Postgraduate Degree will be also preferable
  • 3+ years of experience in Data Analyst position
  • Extensive knowledge of data analysis and statistical techniques, predictive modeling and optimization
  • Experience in data mining and manipulation of large disparate datasets
  • Proficient in Excel (VBA, pivot tables)
  • Strong skills in databases and statistical packages for data manipulation and development of predictive and prescriptive models (i.e. SAS, SPSS, SQL, or modern advanced analytics software such as R, Python)
  • Proven use of data visualization tools (Tableau, Spotfire, Qlikview, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy with attention to detail
  • Effective organizational and planning skills to deal with a variety of projects
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) both in English and Greek languages
  • Familiarity with Sports Betting and Gaming industry will be preferable
  • Completed military obligations (for male candidates)
