Grant Thornton Greece is currently seeking to employ a Senior Advisor (Ref: GT-0617D).

Position summary

The Senior Advisor is responsible for all phases of project and engagement management for multiple clients in a wide variety of industries. Responsibilities include planning, directing, and completing projects and services in financial due diligence, valuation, IBR and developing and managing staff. The Senior Associate works closely with partners and staff and plays a key role in client management, practice development, and business development for an assigned group of clients.

Role

  • Run Transactions Advisory Services (TAS) engagements throughout the transaction process, and coordinate the work performed by multiple service lines and cross-functional teams.
  • Plan, execute, direct and complete:
    • Financial due diligence for financial and corporate strategic buyers from a variety of industries.
    • Valuations for transaction of IFRS purposes.
    • Independent business reviews (IBR) and business plans.
  • Manage client expectations concerning project deliverables and deadlines and lead change efforts effectively. Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Team with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development calls.
  • Supervise, train and mentor associates.

Requirements

  • 3 to 5 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice.
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Finance/ Accounting/ Business Administration
  • Have or be in the process for a professional qualification such as ACCA, ACA or CFA.
  • A strong current knowledge in IFRS and Greek GAAP.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous project in a rapidly growing practice.
  • Excellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communications skills.
