EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is looking to recruit in Athens or Thessaloniki a Senior Java Web Developer / Software Engineer. The successful candidate will join a highly professional team of Java developers / Software Engineers that uses state-of-the-art technologies (Java EE multi-tier architecture) to implement challenging IT software projects, for major international public organisations.
Tasks:
- Analyse, design, develop and maintain large and complex web-based Java applications;
- Collaborate passionately with colleagues, adhering to highest professional standards and ensuring the delivery of quality software and project documentation;
- Coach junior developers and contribute to the continual improvement process through cross-thinking and putting forward innovative ideas.
Qualifications:
- University Degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering or related field;
- Passion for software development and new technologies, enthusiasm for teamwork and quality, keen to learn and excel, taking ownership of area of responsibility;
- Experience as Java developer / Software Engineer, ideally in a Java EE / Web environment
- Java / Java EE, web programming (JavaScript, Angular, etc.) and databases;
- English; German (at least reading) is considered a strong asset.
