Experienced Java Software Engineer

EUROPEAN DYNAMICS is looking to recruit an Experienced Java Software Engineer. The work will be carried out at the company’s premises in Athens, with occasional on-site missions at the customer premises.

Tasks:

  • Analysis, Design and Development of large and composite web applications;
  • Develop and adhere to project standards, ensuring the delivery of quality software and project documentation, according to customer requirements;
  • Communication with clients;
  • Supervising and assisting less experienced team members;
  • Reporting on progress and issues;
  • Consultancy, security studies and audits in specific aspects of information systems.

Qualifications:

  • University Degree in Computer Science or related field;
  • Working experience 3 years and above;
  • Strong analytical capabilities, team- and quality-oriented, keen to learn and excel;
  • Competency in Software Systems Architecture and Engineering principles;
  • Significant experience in Java EE Architecture and Java Programming;
  • Substantial experience in several of the following technologies: UML, RUP, relational databases, Application Servers (Weblogic, Apache, Tomcat), UNIX/Linux, source code control (SVN, GIT, Maven), Eclipse, continuous integration, automated testing frameworks (Junit, Jmeter, Selenium), EJB, Hibernate, Spring, Web Services, JSP, JavaScript, jQuery/AJAX, XML, XSL, SQL, RDF, SPARQL;
