APM Business Unit distributes and exclusively represents in the Greek market, one of the global-leader vendors in factory automation equipment, providing a complete automation product portfolio, including PLC, VFDs, LVS, HMI, Servo, Robots and SCADA.
We are currently looking for a
Sales Support Executive for APM Business Unit, to join our team.
Role Overview
This is a fast-paced, operations-driven back-office role within the Sales team, focused on managing a demanding volume of daily customer requests and ensuring accurate and timely execution of sales support processes. The position requires strong ability to work within structured workflows, handle multiple parallel tasks, and consistently operate across ERP systems and Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Success in this role depends on strong organizational skills, attention to detail, process discipline, and the ability to efficiently coordinate internally with technical and commercial teams.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support the sales team in daily operations and back-office activities.
- Handle customer inquiries via phone and email, providing professional and timely responses.
- Draft and prepare quotations, contracts, and proposals for customers.
- Track open offers and follow up on sales leads.
- Process orders into the ERP system, monitor stock levels, and prepare reports.
- Provide pre-sales support in product selection.
- Monitor customer accounts, assist in tracking sales targets and KPIs.
- Provide support in preparation on sales support documentation.
- Arrange and coordinate appointments, meetings, and travel schedules.
- Maintain and update customer records and databases (CRM, ERP).
- Prepare presentations, meeting documents, and minutes.
- Ensure smooth internal communication between sales, technical and logistics teams.
- Coordinate with other departments and external partners to facilitate information flow.
The Sales Support Executive will be reporting to the Business Unit Manager.
Your Profile
- Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Mechanical / Automation) or in Business Administration / Marketing.
- M.B.A. is considered as a plus.
- 2–3 years’ experience in a sales support, operations, or administrative role, in industrial/technical field.
- Experience or familiarity with the referenced product portfolio will be considered a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with ERP/CRM systems will be a strong plus.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities, attention to detail, and capability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Excellent command of English, technical vocabulary knowledge will be considered a plus.
- A proactive, team-oriented, and adaptable professional, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
