MIS – BI Professional MISBI_(0319)
Description / Requirements
Eurolife ERB Insurance Group is seeking for an experienced and results oriented senior professional to join our team as a MIS – BI Professional.
Main Responsibilities:
The candidate will play a critical role in supporting MIS – BI business needs with the following key responsibilities:
- Help ensure the operational integrity of BI infrastructure and BI service delivery by:
- Working on the Microsoft Data Platform in order to acquire/gather data from primary or secondary data sources using MSSQL Integration Services and maintain databases.
- Building and maintaining MSSQL Analysis Services Databases
- Building reports using MSSQL Reporting Services
- Building procedures in order to automate recurring organizational processes
- Work closely with MIS – BI supervisor to ensure the successful deployment of BI solutions across the enterprise
- Participate in requirement gathering, design, development, and configuration of BI solutions, including data models, OLAP cubes, reports, and dashboards
Skills required:
- Excellent knowledge of SQL Server 2008 R2 & later in using below technologies
- MS SQL Server Analysis Services
- MS SQL Integration Services
- MS SQL Reporting Services
- Excel, Power Pivot for Excel, Power Query for Excel
- POWER–BI will be considered a plus.
- MS SQL Server (2016) Big Data
- Oracle knowledge will be considered a plus
- Programming skills in C#, MVC, CSS3, HTML5 will be considered a plus
Candidate profile:
- Degree in Computer Science from University or Technical Institute (AEI, TEI). Master’s degree will be considered a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in relevant MIS – BI position
- Analytical skills and ability to work under pressure and strict deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills both in Greek and English
