CONTEXT

You will have the chance to work on concrete and value-creation projects led by different specialists from our institution who are engaged with world-class companies and enterprises. The Institute is opening a number of internship / trainee positions in its Information Technology for Innovative Services (ITIS) Department to be part of a deeply multidisciplinary experience.

DESCRIPTION

Under the activities related to Legal Technology in LIST, we will conduct an empirical study on what kinds of human and ICT resources (e.g. human resources like lawyers, law firms, legal compliance group, and ICT resources like computer software deploying AI and Law etc.) are used by different parties (e.g. financial and credit institutes, regulators and others) involved in the financial regulation domain for operationalizing financial regulatory compliance activities (e.g. legal financial reporting and other legal and statutory financial requirements etc.).

These positions will be a six-month legal-research activity (that includes stakeholder analysis, survey questionnaires development, conducting interviews, data collection, validation and analysis) broadly on several sets of questions.

PROFILE

Education

• Student in Law (last year LL.B or LL.M student) with:

1. Proven academic qualification on Luxembourgish laws, particularly in financial and administrative laws in Luxembourg
2. Good understanding on applications of ICT and law

Language

• Must-have good level of English and French. Any other language is considered as an asset.

Application file should include: (a) CV mentioning all academic courses that have been completed, and (b) One-page essay on “The Role of ICT for the application of Financial Regulation in Luxembourg” (this will be considered as a motivation letter).

All interns receive a monthly compensation of €950
