Tsakos Shipping and Trading S.A., Paleo Faliro, seeks a Junior IT Officer to join the ranks of its IT/Shore Team who will be tasked with matters of IT-Helpdesk and Support (1st and 2nd Level Support) for the vast range of the Group’s worldwide ICT provided services.
Required Qualifications:
- University degree in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology and/or Web Design & Development.
- Knowledge in Windows Operating Systems. (Windows 10/11 Pro and Windows Server 2012/2016/2019). Knowledge in iOS and Apple OS management and configuration.
- Knowledge in Microsoft Office Desktop Productivity Applications and Microsoft Online Office Services (Exchange Online, Azure, Teams, Sharepoint and Office Suite).
- Remote productivity and web conferencing platform knowledge such as Microsoft Teams, Webex and Zoom.
- IT Asset Management Knowledge. Use of Access or Similar Database systems for Asset management (ex. GLPI).
- Common corporate antivirus tools such as Symantec, Checkpoint, ESET and Windows Defender. Additional knowledge of desktop utilities and backup tools such as Veeam and BackupExec.
- Familiarity with Cloud Technologies such as Azure, AWS and Office M365 suite.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity and information security (NIST/ISO 27001).
Additional aspects which could be considered an asset:
- Familiar with content delivery platforms and social media platforms such as Google / Facebook / LinkedIn / Twitter.
- WordPress and/or other website design and development tools and frameworks.
- Adobe Photoshop Complete Suite for HQ Video and Image editing for promo purposes and company reference. Adobe in design leaflets, brochures, and printable material. Open-source video editing and playback tools.
- Familiarity with Cloud, AI and IoT technologies such as MS Azure services, Microsoft Co-Pilot and/or other.
- Knowledge of ISO27001 and NIST cybersecurity frameworks.
