We are one of the leading providers of Deals related services in Greece. Our Deals professionals work side-by-side with senior members of our clients’ teams to create tangible and sustainable value from their M&A transactions. Our Deals – Transaction Services team is at the core of our Deals practice focusing on (a) Buy-side and Sell-side Financial / Business Due Diligence services, (b) advising clients in their negotiations on the financial aspects of Share Purchase Agreements and (c) special purpose assignments (e.g. Deal analytics and data driven insights, Vendor Assistance etc.).
Our team is involved in the highest profile M&A transactions in Greece covering a wide range of Industries including Energy, Infrastructure, Telecoms and Technology, Manufacturing, FMCG, Pharma and Healthcare, Retail, Real Estate and Services (Hospitality, Software development, Logistics etc.). Our client base consists primarily of large Greek and multinational corporates, private equity funds and financial investors.
The role entails:
At Deals – Transaction Services you will have the opportunity to work on high profile M&A transactions, to increase your visibility to senior members of our clients’ management team and build lasting relationships as their trusted advisor. You will also become part of a high achieving, collaborative team which focuses on knowledge sharing, thought leadership and the continuous development of its people through internal and external training and upskilling courses.
What we are looking for
Excellent academic records from a Greek or foreign university (Bachelor’s and / or Master’s degree) relevant to any of the following disciplines: Accounting & Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, Management Science and Technology or other relevant discipline;
Familiarity with advanced data analysis and visualization software (e.g. Power BI, Power Tools, Alteryx) and Advanced excel skills will be highly regarded;
Willingness to study towards acquiring a high profile professional qualification (e.g. CFA, ACA-ICAEW, ACCA);
Familiarity and solid understanding of basic accounting concepts and valuation techniques;
Problem solving skills and a genuine passion about financial analysis and data analytics;
Confident and positive, “can do” attitude;
Commitment to providing excellent quality work and building relationships with colleagues and clients;
Fluency in Greek and English, both orally and in writing;
Military obligations fulfilled.
