Application Support Engineer
Based in Piraeus, Attica
As our Application Support Engineer, you will be carrying out the following tasks set out by management, including but not limited to:
- Support and analysis of business systems and applications (ERP etc.)
- Communicate with end-users and software vendors
- Overview of the installation and configuration of systems performed by vendors, ensuring the implementation is properly executed in a timely and efficient manner
- Performance of tests (end-to-end, acceptance) to ensure that the systems work as expected
- Training of end-users
- Preparation of a broad variety of management reports to ensure business continuity and provide insights to the upper management
You will be a successful candidate if you can identify yourself with the following criteria:
- You have earned your Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems or a related field
- You preferably have 2 years of proven experience in a similar position (application support, business analysis, ERP implementation etc.)
- You are knowledgeable of one or more major programming languages (Java, C/C++/C#, Python, PHP etc.)
- You are knowledgeable of Relational Database Management Systems (preferably MS SQL Server) and respective Structured Query Languages (preferably T-SQL)
- You have experience on a BI tool (PowerBI, TARGIT, QlikView, etc.)
- You have a strong will for further improvement as well as the ability and eagerness to learn and be productive with new technologies
- You have excellent written and oral communication skills both in Greek and English
- You possess excellent analytical and time management skills
