About the role
This role is located in our offices in Athens or Thessaloniki. The function of the Senior .Net Developer is to mainly design, develop and administer desktop applications, although experience with developing web applications and back-end APIs will be considered a necessary skill. He/She must be able to create front-end GUIs and backend data services on a variety of platforms (mainly Windows and Mac) with extensive knowledge in standard best practices for architecting solutions, including design patterns.
A casual day includes
- Develop, maintain and extend our order management software and other inhouse and customer facing apps
- Work closely with product, management and marketing teams to determine the technical requirements and the effort needed for the development of a wide range of desktop/Web application projects
- Develop and administer desktop applications and consume APIs in accordance with project requirements and department policies
- Perform unit, integration and usability testing and benchmarks for developed software
- Evaluate emerging technologies and best practices, making recommendations that would contribute to the efficiency and effectiveness of the development process for the whole team
What you will need
- 3+ years experience with C# and Net Framework
- Building modern and responsive UI with WPF and XAML
- Strong troubleshooting skills in live and business crucial environment
- Experience working with Visual Studio
- Experience with relational databases (SqlServer, Sqlite, Mysql)
- Be at ease with both front-end and back-end development
- Enjoy working as a team member as well as independently and willing to work for a challenging project in a fast-paced environment
- Enthusiastic towards new technologies, writing clean and scalable code following best practices and paying attention to detail
- Knowledge of MEAN stack or Amazon AWS environments, will be considered a great plus
