Technical Writer
Sword Services Greece, on behalf of one of our biggest EU clients, is seeking to recruit a high caliber, energetic individual to join our international team, as a Technical Writer. The successful candidate will work in a multinational environment on a multitude of tasks supporting our core business in large International Information Systems. The company is currently expanding its activities, offering an optimum career advancement opportunity for the successful candidate who should combine a relevant educational and professional background, with enthusiasm and eagerness.
The contract duration is 30 working days.
What will you do
- Preparation of user guidance/training material (incl. videos);
- Publication of release communications/news items on the Client’s website;
- Running of showcases of the system for key users;
- Coordination and support of user acceptance testing;
- Coordination of third line support;
- A strong technical background, specifically the delivery of complex software systems;
- Knowledge in IT Service Management and/or Risk frameworks, and/or international standards.
What is your experience
- Experience in combining the role of technical writer with providing user testing support and coordinating 3rd line support;
- Analytically oriented to establish root causes of defects and incidents;
- Experience using agile software development methodologies (i.e. Kanban, Scrum and other lean techniques);
- Experience in working with JIRA is desired;
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g. Cambridge Certificates of English.) are desirable
