DATA COLLECTOR / JUNIOR CREDIT ANALYST – COFACE GREECE

Coface Greece is looking for a Data Collector / Junior Credit Analyst to join our Credit Analysis Team in Athens and support in the collection, interpretation and credit analysis of financial data focusing on small and micro businesses. The role includes supporting all information / credit analysis activities of the Greek Branch. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct direct contacts, collect updated financial documents and assess credit risk evaluation for small and micro businesses.
  • Support all credit analysis and information activities, including direct meetings with the debtors, prospects and counter parties, local control of debtors’ activity also through direct contact and cooperation with Commercial and Risk Prevention functions for the correct assessment of the risk exposure.
  • Duly liaising with Regional Enhanced team for reporting and alignment to Group rules and standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Accounting / Finance / Economics / Business or related field, post graduate degree will be a plus
  • 1-3 years’ experience in accounting/financial analysis/reporting considered a plus
  • Good reading and understanding of financial statements (IFRS, ΕΛΠ) and Greek Tax documents (E3, Vat Declaration)
  • Proven experience with MS Office and excellent Excel skills
  • Fluent in English (both writing and speaking)
  • Strong analytical and communicational skills
  • Ability to work independently, as well as part of an international team
