The Candidate

The Junior Accounting Associate is expected to assist Analog Group (Consulting Services) on their day-to-day tasks.

Responsibilities

Engage in day-to-day business and accounting deliverables working closely with the Group CEO, as well as within the Group Activities, and its wide range of customers
Work closely with other team members of various departments
Research and analyze collections for company management
Be a user of the ERP system the company uses and make entries
Assist in the preparation of financial analyses and reports
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts
Investigate and resolve audit findings, account discrepancies, and issues of non- compliance
Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
Perform other accounting duties and supporting as required or assigned

Required Skills

General accounting understanding
General understanding of finance terms
General understanding of general transaction management (managing internal resource/consultants/stakeholders, adhering to transaction timeline)
Good project management skills
Excellent negotiation skills dealing with various and diverse issues
Ability to work independently and think “out-of-the-box” without contradictingteam spirit and with a “hands on” mindset
Problem solving mentality and commitment on achieving corporate and personal goals and targets with a proactive approach to business
Ability to work under pressure and meet required deadlines and deliverables
Ability to work with little to no supervision

Education and Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics or equivalent experience (in case of current student not required)
Good MS Office skills
