We are looking for an IT Administrator that will ensure the proper IT operations and business continuity for our company, making sure security and back up strategies are in place, as well as maintain and manage our on-premises and cloud infrastructure.

Our IT Administrator will serve as a key member of the aquaManager team, in an environment that promotes collaboration, creativity and initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Monitoring and maintaining networks, servers and technology tools
  • Upgrading, installing and configuring new hardware and software to meet company objectives
  • Customer and on-premise installation and configuration of Software
  • Customer and local technical support and troubleshooting
  • Maintain and improve existing network, internet and cloud security
  • Manage, monitor and maintain company’s mail accounts, sites and domains
  • Systems backup & recovery management and planning
  • Creating technical documentation, manuals and IT policies
  • Keeping up to date with advancements and best practices in IT.
  • Interacting with clients, providing cloud support, and making recommendations based on client needs
  • Designing, developing and deploying modular cloud-based systems

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (Information Technology, Computer Science or related field)
  • At least 2 years of previous working experience in IT
  • Strong knowledge of Windows-based systems and networking. Linux also preferred, but not required
  • Hands on experience in installing, configuring and troubleshooting software and hardware
  • Good knowledge of Active Directory and domain characteristics
  • Good understanding of VPN networking & experience in using software solutions such as, OpenVPN and FortiClient
  • Solid knowledge of best practices in IT administration and system security
  • Experience in Cloud Environments and Virtualization tools such as: Microsoft Azure, Hyper-V or VMWare, Docker, certifications preferred but not required
  • SQL database management and maintenance preferred but not required
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and time-management skills
  • Excellent command of English (both written and oral)
  • Desire for continuous learning, growth mentality
